was there some sort of toxicology report on this guy?? Was he destitute?he literally played this game to death. how is this a problem in these asian countries? asians wanna bone these freaking games in the bung. everytime i pull up a japanese player in Dark Souls im like "F*** YEAH MOTHER F*****" ... cause they are so goood at these crazy games, i have personally never played Diablo games before though i just thought this article was funny as f***

@Gle4se @HipHopBeats thanks, its really interesting to think about these kinda things because i personally dont know about any hard research linking the progression of technology to anti social behavior. In fact, it seems like the greatest inventions in tech are those that PROMOTE social awareness. Its a tough and very personal topic for me because i am obsessed with videogames but i love to socialize too.

@Gle4se @HipHopBeats yea tech is changing the world, but trust me there is no reason to reminisce or wax nostalgic: its only going to keep changing (or keep getting worse - however you look at it) And since when HASENT technology dictated the way of the world. telephone, the internet, television. People were GLUED to their tvs in the 60s/70s/80s/90s LOL

And who are we to say anything? we ourselves RIGHT NOW are social networking with one another online!!! Im 27 right now, and yea going online helps pass the boredom at my job. Twenty years ago, my off hours would suck so much worse if i didnt have an iphone - but i wouldnt have even known about it cause it wasnt invented yet..

but this is not the forum to start preaching about missing the good old days, because you either have to submit or admit defeat. you cannot stop progress whatever the form. its the way of the world. or you can go live in a cave like a hermit !!!! now thats being anti social!!!

i think this says more about people from Asia than about the games themselves. I mean, every single one of these stories is from an asian country. Coincidence? i think not. As for WHY this is happening almost exclusively in these regions, i have no idea..
