actually, xbox doesnt use hd-dvd's for games, no such animal. they use hd-dvd's for movies but you have to buy the hd-dvd player seperately. the actual console only plays regular dvd's.

o so does that mean that it holds less data and it connot be big at all damm xbox bringing ps3 down

 No no it's a commun misconception that because it doesnt hold as much that the game will be smaller. The raw size of the games exceed the size of the actual disk by far, it is just that they compress it very well for all games thus the reason there are long load times even on the PS3.

correct me if i am wrong please. 

PS3=50GB per disk XBOX360=9GB per disk so who`s games are going to offer more? gears of war, great game but how long did it take to complete the game from start to finish 2 to 3 hours? thats because the graphics used up all the space on the disk making it a very small game.

 The fact that they can compress the games realy well to fit onto those 9 gigs means that you can have a game like(now this is all hypothetical) DMC4 that will fit on 1 BR disk and onto 1 dual layered disk.

Yea they're on dual layered disks taht hold around  8 gigs but the games on it are compressed so well that it can compete with the 50 gigs on blu ray.

You missed out that the conditions were terrible for anyone to actually do any proper reviewing of the game demos that were set up.

I think the PS3 cost way to much, and then I found out that sony actually LOOSES money from each one, its pretty expensive stuff._Xeauz_

Yea sony do loose money on the ps3 but the same was happening when the PS2 was first released...granted they didnt loose $1.5 bil but still the point is that they can make the money back through blu-ray movies, games etc etc.

well when i used to play wow and ko, i played 80+ hours a week. maybe it's because i didn't have a job and i would rush through my homework, i would stay up till like 3 am in the morning playing and sleep in some of my classes in schoolddldave
