The best seasons of FG were the first 3. After that, it just went to a different direction. It's the same formula over and over. However, I still watch any of the new episodes shown on Fox 5, because at this point, I feel connected to the characters even though they seem different. I have to see what happens to them in the new episodes no matter what.

Those levels with the blood trails always got me mad. What was creepy though, was the way in which Max would scream upon falling to his death if you fell off.

i want the old constipated max.i like the first games gritty feel, story and atmosphere alot more than mp2.you really feel all alone in that blizzard.mp2 nightmare were nowhere as cool or disturbing as mp1.bawathegamer
I agree with you on that. MP1's story was better and more grittier.

Nothing more disturbing than falling off a bloodtrail. Agh, this was painful.

the babies crying got to me more.the worst part is that sequence wasnt exactly easy.you had to drop a couple of levels and experiment.if i play it right now ......i still might take a few tries.really enjoyed the "max this is a videogame" nightmare.that one cracked me up

plus who cant love his famous quotes??

think it was "665 the neighbor of the beast"

I dont know about angels, but its fear that gives men wings"

Youll find that Lady luck was really a hooker, and you were fresh out of cash

Logic was such a liar

Collecting evidence had gotten old a few hundred bullets back. I was already so far beyond the point of no return I couldn't remember what it had looked like when I had passed it

Niagara, as in you cry a lot?".... He had a baseball bat and I was tied to a chair. Pissing him off was the smart thing to do

And now I was going to kill her - the queen of the underworld who had tried to lift herself a bit closer to heaven with her drug money. No begging, no bribes. She knew better. Honor among killers, "we who are about to die." Both of us knew how this would end: in pain and suffering

Wow. Ya definitly know your MP quotes lol. All of those were memerable lines.

Nope, not getting it.

Tried playing some of the early GTA's, but couldn't stand them.

They were too hard and repetitive for my taste.

Those "reasons" don't affect me quite honestly.

the only thing that is good about MGS is hype and nothing more, it sure is a mega hyped game but when u finally played it its a crappy game, i don't know why ppl trust that ugly gay liar named Hideo Kojima.jojo198
Just be quiet. Kojima's a legend in the industry, so show some respect.

Anyone who missed it should have no excuse by now since they sell the Max Payne bundle on Direct2Drive and Steam for under $15. Yes, the games` are short but if you play 1 & 2 in continuation (like I'm doing), it equals out to a pretty satisfying and lengthy action game.

With that said, I'd like a third one, but aside from better graphics, AI, or physics, I'm not sure if there would be anymore new things that can be laid out on the table. Will a third one be marketable enough for the devs to make one? Maybe they'll announce something when the movie hits.

Also, Strangehold seems like what Max Payne 3 would be like.

ASK_Story
I think that'd be the hardest thing, adding new story. A lot of people would say that Max's journey in the criminal under world is over. I don't think so though.

It really depends. The scratches I look out for are the ones that are very deep. But even ones that aren't deep can still make a game unplayable.
