May Kuja smite you all for your tomfoolery against him! :Pkryu88
Putting some clothes on would be easier. ;)

[QUOTE="latte428"][QUOTE="darkcloud6"]i just started FFXII:RW, so what do you guys think of it (without spoilers please :))Fenian_lostsoul
It is great! The characters are based from FFXII of course but SE did a good job with creating a new story. Cut scenes are well done. It is a simple strategy RPG (especially compared to FFT:WOTL) but I like playing it for the story. Am replaying for the second time and am in the begining of Chapter 9 (I missed some battles and want 100%! :D)
heavy use of the stylus? if not how do you control the units?
Regarding FFTWotL I just made Ramza a thief(I'm mastering first the jobs needed for Dark Knight) and I notice that unlike my ninja when he kills a monster he doesn't poach the remains, is this because he is only a lvl 3 thief and my other character is a lvl 7(job lvl) ninja?
Is this not because your ninja has the "Secret Hunt" skill equipped?
Ok that helped a whole bunch and yeah I seen that Auron was taken lol. I will think about which character I would like to be in the time being so I'll do this one a little later. Thanks once again for all the help!menniss
Anytime. :)
[QUOTE="latte428"][QUOTE="Dantes_Girl"]Three words:
I hate GameFaqs. :P
langrisser2005
I agree! I don't like their site layout and the guides are generally incomplete.
I like it. It's very simple and easy to navigate, and there isn't much to load on the page except text so it loads quickly. Maybe scrolling down the list of a thousand games might be annoying a tiny bit lol but otherwise I think it's very good. Simple yet efficient!
I agree. I think that the search facility works sufficiently well enough so that the appropriate guide is easy enough to find. I also find it quicker and easier to search an individual guide for a particular item using "Ctrl + F" than I would with a hard copy.
To reply to Vaan's point, I usually find that I can find a complete guide for whatever game I'm playing, though I accept that a complete guide isn't always available if the game is brand new.
my bad....I misread your sentence XDCronaroth
:lol: That's okay. :)
[QUOTE="S_Jake"][QUOTE="queen_valentine"][QUOTE="crushgoil"]ooohhh I really hope so! I'd dl that!
odd random question:
has anyone here ever played Thardferr?latte428
What is that?
It's a text-based online role-playing game that's based on AD&D.
I've play a couple of text based AD&D games but I haven't heard of this one....Is it a newer one?
On a different note, finally finished Blue Dragon. That was a much better game then the 6 that GS gave it. LONG though. Took me over 100 hours!
I've not played Thardferr either, but I know Yuna used to. I understand that it started about ten years ago, but has been in decline since about 2003. Here's a link to a Wiki article about Thardferr that I found, if you're interested. :)
Good grief. :evil: Work, because at least we get paid. :roll:

[QUOTE="kryu88"][QUOTE="S_Jake"][QUOTE="TriEdgeFury26"]but still, idk strategy guides are kinda cool..........i own 4............collector's edition of XII, FF VII, Star Ocean TTEOT, and FF X-2.................latte428
Now I can understand people buying them for the artwork, but not as strategy guides.
Main reason I buy guides, for the pretty pictures in them. :wink:
I also like them for the artwork and for complex games like Oblivion.
It is also nice to have them around since I like to get 100% in game completion. In my second replay of FF12:RW, I am using a guide (which has some great artwork in it!) to make sure I find what I missed the first time.
My main issue with strategy guides is that I can get reliable information for free at Gamefaqs. I've also had issues in the past with "Official" guides where the information in them hasn't been complete or has been inaccurate. Like I said, I can understand them being bought for the artwork, but not purely as strategy guides. :)
[QUOTE="crushgoil"][QUOTE="queen_valentine"]Are they going to release a demo for DMC4? That'd be sweet.queen_valentine

[QUOTE="S_Jake"]I'm sorry Seifer, but I'm afraid that Square had no involvment with BoF2. The only involvement Square had with the BoF series is with the US release of the original BoF for the SNES.
*Jake really needs to get out more ;) *

Umm....You've just repeated what I already said. :?
