Lost Odyssey is a great game - and I hope that they continue the series. The Last Story for the Wii is essentially a Final Fantasy in all but name and well worth your time when it is released. Sadly, there has been a dearth of JRPG's this gen.
I hope those affected can find new work soon. While I have never played their titles, their work is fairly well respected. Sad that the sales didn't follow through.
The PS Vita isn't selling well. The Tsunami did major damage and delays to their business. The Yen is very strong. The PS3 isn't selling as strongly as it could. They are spending massive amounts on R and D for the PS4. All those things add up.
originally rage was supossed to be dark corridors and flashights, anyway, everything is wated potential, they jsut cant implement all the things they want.dakan45
I agree. I can definitely see potential in a day/night cycle for RAGE, with monsters leaping at you, and those twitchy mutants - that would be cool. Alas, it isn't to be. RAGE is a fun, but ultimately forgettable title lofted only by it's admittedly beautiful visuals.
For the most part, yes. But some games are just better on console. For instance, I really llike playing Basketball games, really can only do that on consoles. A good fighting game is usually best on consoles, or at least has the most options. And party games like Dance Central and Guitar Hero and the like are best on consoles. Thats not to say that I dont love PC gaming, I do - but there are just some instances where console gaming has the edge, purely because it's designed better in that regard.
My GOTY would have to go to Skyrim. It's essentially perfect. Best Wii game goes to Rayman Origins. It is truly fantastic and I love it (yes I do own it), and Im very much looking forward to Rayman Legends, but I wouldn't call it the best overall game of 2011.
