[QUOTE="Sagacious_Tien"]They have announced a new title that is being developed for the next generation, but there is no indication what it will be and they weren't present at E3. They are good at collaborating, having helped work on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Darksiders. I just don't see them as the amazing design team they were back in the Gamecube days. Should they go back to making a title themselves, I think we'd be seeing either an original title or Eternal Darkness 2. Working on the Wii U sounds plausible for the company, considering it's lower buy in point (they must be low on funds, considering the weak sales of X-Men Destiny), and their previous work with Nintendo. Too Human 2 isn't happening, MS cancelled the trilogy after the title got panned.CarnageHeartEternal Darkness had a superb story and great characters (I'll never forget the monk), but the gameplay/game design was terrible. Magic (a continually replenishing resource which allowed you to cure insanity, heal wounds and kill enemies) and swords (which made killing non-boss enemies easy) broke the game. Given that in reaction to ED's poor sales Nintendo relegated them to coding a terrible port of MGS1 (the decision to give Snake MGS2 type abilities robbed som eof the best bosses of their challenge) under the supervision of Kojima and Miyamoto (with a movie director friend of Kojima's handling the story) before selling them to MS, I would be deeply shocked if Nintendo ever again had anything to do with SK.I'm not saying that there is a definitive point here - and who knows, maybe they won't collaborate with Nintendo. But I think I do see them either going to the downloadable market, the Wii U, or even the PC market with their titles. I just cant see them going retail on the next Playstation and Xbox, as the funds required to develop for such machines is massive.
