@Lerry757 The costs of developing and publishing games has gone up dramatically over the years. The cost of purchasing a game has remained pretty much the same. Do the math.

Forza 5 was always going to be next gen. Especially when I saw Forza Horizon appear as a 'filler' for the series. Can't wait to get my hands on F5.

@kenlars Absolutely, sure there are many that don't have a stable internet connection - if Microsoft choose always online. But there are many more that 'do' have a good connection. My ISP hasn't missed a beat in over 6 years. While I understand some frustration, I personally dont have a problem. I'll also be buying both the next xbox and PS4.

@eesounds If you never played it, you've missed arguably one of the greatest games made.
