If I were Zenimax I'd have left TES to Bethesda to perfect and add some co-op, the MMO Zenimax Online are developing should have been Fallout. I just honestly think that would have been a safer bet. I will definitely play Elder Scrolls Online but I will be super critical of any MMO I play in the future, they're going to have to work hard to pull this off.

Blizzards Titan MMO will NOT be free to play and it will sell incredibly well to be the new king on the MMO block, no question at all. If a game is polished, well made and worth the time and money investment to the playerbase, they will pay. Blizzard have fine tuned the development of an MMO game and know exactly what the players do and dont want and simply understand the market better than most.

As far as Elder Scrolls go, they are an unknown quantity with Zenimax Online having their first crack at an MMO (albeit with devs that have worked on other MMOs). They'd probably be better have taking a long hard look at how Arenanet are going with Guild Wars 2 and adopting their payment model. One thing Zenimax MUST do is make their OWN game, make it well and polish it until it shines. Another copy and paste MMO is the last thing players will want and they simply HAVE to be aware of that.

Instead of the scum of the earth scamming gold seling sites making money from the players, now Blizzard and the players themselves will be the ones making the money. That is not a bad thing at all.

To the people mentioning they won't use the AH ..don't forget there are 'two' AH's. One is Real Money the other is your standard in game gold AH. I don't see the problem with what Blizzard are doing. People would have purchased in game items, gold, etc for real money anyway, at least it is now legit. As for Blizzard taking a cut, at least they are allowing you to make money legitimately from the game in the first place. I can't think of any other game that allows you to do that.

John Marsden from Red Dead Redemption and Nico Belic from GTA IV weren't extraordinary characters yet those two games are probably two of the best games I have played. Story and character development trumps Superman.
