There aren't many instances of films/television being better then the books but this is one of them. The books aren't bad but the show is incredibly well done. George should finish this new book when its done, retire from writing and then move to the helping the tv series adapt his vision as a co-screenwriter.
@velcroboy: Yet another upset Witcher 3 fanboy claiming 'I spend every day ranting about it'. Sorry kid, I am flattered that you remember me, I can't say that I remember who you are supposed to be though but I can tell you that I don't spend every day talking about it. I believe it is massively over rated but I'm certainly not on my own in that regard. I re-read my comment above and found no word of The Witcher 3 anywhere but I am happy for you, I'll let you keep ranting about if you like it makes no difference to my day whatsoever.
Regardless of your anger and tears I still find Fallout 4 the best Fallout game there is and I played them all. My tastes have move on from the late 90s generic isometric games of the first two with horrendous graphics, riveting action packed scrolling text that tells me I punched a rat for 3 damage and turn based gameplay with a heap of pointless stats that fool children into believing they're making some sort of progression. Fallout 3 was far better than the first two games and lifted the franchise into a very popular and well known IP. I realise that closet dwelling, neckbearded, Dungeon and Dragons playing, original Fallout fans get all angry when their game becomes popular but it happens with a lot of games or movies, they live in some sort of fantasy world in the past and just won't accept anything but their original no matter what. Fallout NV wasn't better than F3 but some believe it was. Fallout 4 is a massive improvement in every department over Fallout 3. A completely new gaming system in Settlements, improved graphics, sound, presentation, writing, the world actually has colour, a lot more content, a new progression system but of course its going to 'feel' like a Fallout game as the world it is based on already exists in previous games.
Well sir, would it make you a hypocrite calling Fallout 4, Fallout 3.2 while blindly and angrily defending The Witcher 3 yet not calling The Witcher 3, Witcher 2.2?
