Maybe I am missing something, but wouldn't that control like a laptop touchpad? Of which I can't say was very good for FPS's, or even RTS, for Civ 5 it works as it's turn based. How will this be any different?

Edit: just saw the part where he plays some counter strike and it looked slow like analogue sticks; aimed like he was anaesthetized... so much for that.

You mean the modern standards where you don't even have legs and are basically a floating arm?

I agree though, but having hand animations will slow down certain parts, unless you want really weird super jittery hand animations.
