Stop dividing everything into 2 completely separated things. There's no such manichaeism, reducing everything to a good vs. evil duality.
It's anti wild capitalism. Capitalism is the best economic model out there, but it can exist in many forms, some more humane, others less. The Welfare State being one such example of the former.
This game is about lives having more value than money. That's what it's about.
@canuckbiker You can notice the difference as long as the pixel density/resolution isn't about the "retina" display pixel density. It depends on the surface area, distance and number of pixels. Each factor has it's effects, for example, distance can change the perceived density.
Move the screen closer and you'll notice the pixels more easily. More farther away from you, and it'll condensate the pixels in relation to your vision, giving the notion of more density.
So, the sweet spot from where there won't be a noticeable difference, for a screen holded 10 to 12 inches from the eye, it should have a density of about 300 pixels per inch (PPI). On the iPhone 5 with it's 4" display, for example, that would translate to a resolution of 1136x640.
But for 15" monitor, you would need a 2880 x 1800 resolution to start not seeing any difference from there on.
It keeps going up proportionally, keeping in mind that it depends on the distance you are from the screen, it's size, and pixel density. The resolution of 4K could still be a noticeable difference if you're sitting from a considerable distance to your 60" TV.

I agree. I've always felt that playing games like Ultima VII or VIII, XCOM: Ufo Defense was just that much more fun than playing today's games because we just had to figure everything out ourselves.
It's not nostalgia, because I experienced the same joy by playing a recent game in that same way. I enjoyed Don't Starve a lot, exactly like I used to enjoy those old games in my infancy because there was simply lots of gameplay mechanics to discover and no obvious hints and tutorials in game, and also no ubiquitous marketing, and no people talking about it everywhere, spoiling details... there was nothing telling me everything about the game before I've played it. Wish this was still the norm, not the exception.
@Chr0noid Well I think he tells us a lot in the first 3 paragraphs, though it's not about game mechanics and objetive qualities in graphics, soundtrack, etc.
This is not a bad work, but like most already pointed out, probably this kind of work is better suited not for reviews, but for articles, analysis on games with a specific thematic determined beforehand. Or maybe for reviews on games that are narrative or story driven, more than gameplay driven.
@10Sly10 I'd point that he implies that now the game itself is a mercenary, more an arcade flight combat game with Ace Combat-like gameplay, rather than a full-fledged new series entry, with all it's qualities. I think that's what he meant, this is just a money grabber.
@DaEliteCommando I thought this one was the closest to a review from all of his work in GS. He doesn't mention anything about graphics, for example, but he does talk about story and gameplay a lot, this last one even if by hints, but these, at least for me, it seems to manage to tell the whole story of how the game actually plays.
With Always Sometimes Monsters being neither a review or a critique work.
And Sir, You Are Being Hunted a work that is not a review, but game critique, at least for me.
I guess he's "tweaking" the bits to get a balanced review - game critique work, and this one seems to be on it, or almost on it.
But like phbz said before in this comments section, maybe Nick's hability would be better used in articles, not product reviews.
@Fartman7998 You "elaborated" just to go back to your first point by backing from the elaboration. Great logic there. "No, I see that there are great Sony exclusives, it's just that they are great exclusives that are mediocre. Great, but mediocre. Especially on the PS4, since the PS3 ones were great. But even those on the PS3 were mediocre. So... yeah." That's how you sounded like. You're yearning for a generalization where it just can't happen.
