@mkeezay22 @Sanligo Everyone has their preferences. If you know you'd like this game, then buy it of course! Just don't expect it to be something it's not.
If Elite Dangerous has taught me anything it is that a procedural generated universe is one as vast as an ocean and as deep as a puddle. I hope this game turns out well, even though I will never be able to play it, as it is an ambitious space sim, but exploring billions of planets will get boring pretty fast when the only difference is that they are a different color.
There is a reason that the Elder Scrolls evolved from a massive randomized world in Daggerfall to a smaller, handcrafted world in Skyrim.
An update on the second playable character from CDPR, since GameSpot seems to not be interested enough to write anything about it.
"Hey guys, it's Marcin here, from CD PROJEKT RED. Just wanted to clarify one thing regarding the second playable character (who will be very important for the story of the game by the way).
You won't be able to switch between Geralt and that other person at will. There will be certain moments in the plot when you assume control of the other character. The time you spend playing as that other character, however, will be significant.
Also, thank you very much for picking us as your Most Anticipated Game of 2015 during last night's TGA's. Your support means the world to us! Thank you so much!:)"
Dang it Nintendo I can't afford all these good games. Why don't you release buggy messes of games and promise to fix it later like everyone else so I can save my money!
@nikon133 @Sanligo That makes sense. They add platforming elements that aren't seen in traditional fighting games. There's so few games like that that I don't think they could make it a separate genre, because it would consist of Smash Bros and those 2 games that are direct ripoffs of Smash (PlayStation All-Stars and TMNT)
