m11x has it's fair share of quality problems that's for sure. ive had to get the left hinge on mine fixed 3 times already. and so has many others according to the internet.TheMistique

Well then TBH theres no point in paying the premium for the alienware laptop. Im sure you can find regular laptops with the same specs as the alienware for a few hundred less.

M11x has a bad hinge, it WILL break eventually. (I have one, it is in the process of breaking). Dell will have a fix permanent fix in march. Besides the hinge it's a damn nice little laptop.

The HP is an HP. DO NOT buy an HP. EVER.

Damn I did not realize this many people had issues with HP as much horse power as that thing has the M11x is looking like the far better option

I got the M11x a few weeks after It launched. Im pretty sure they equip them with Core I series CPU's now.
