Had a HP and it broke and their warranty service was hte biggest joke I ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Needless to say I decided to cut my losses. I would recommend a Macbook before I'd ever recommend HP....and I hate Apple. Human-after-all
Hmm that alienware is seeming to be a great idea the more I hear espcially because I just found a 100 dollar off coupon online bringing the price after tax and shipping down to 1080

I am a student that is looking for a laptop that is also good for gaming and I have it pretty much lowered down to two laptops

this HP DV6tqe which these are the base specs

  • 2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM (2 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.9 GHz
  • 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 6570 graphics [HDMI, VGA]
  • 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
  • 640GB 7200RPM Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
  • 6-Cell Lithium-Ion Battery (standard) - Up to 6.0 hours of battery life +++
  • 15.6" diagonal High Definition HP BrightView LED Display (1366x76
  • Blu-ray player & SuperMulti DVD burner
  • Intel 802.11b/g/n WLAN

Obviously powerful machine ,but I have heard issues with the screen and build quality

as for the m11x

intel I5 520 um 1.86 ghz

8gigs of ramm

11.6 1366x768 screen

320 gig sata 7200 rpm drive

nvidia 335m 1 gig card

backlite keyboard

8 hours of battery life

So the question is should I go for the better build quality and smaller to bring around campus and to game on at home or should I just risk a worse off build and go with the horse power and bloatware both are the same price so thats not really an issue

Ok, most of my friends have a Xbox360, and they all pay for Xbox Live like its all good and dandy. So I tell them PS3 is better with better games/exclusives, so they say I want to play games like COD ( also on the ps3 -,- ) and Gears of War. I say Uncharted is better but they say that the PS3's online is laggy ashell becasue we pay for the elite servers on XboxLive... Need some help here D;

Snakemaster9

sit them down and show them uncharted 2 multiplayer not being laggy

Black Ops is just PACKED with the greatness.

Hmm long 10hr good story fun single player=CHECK!

Online multiplayer with great amount of maps and all good maps=CHECK!

Coop Nazi Zombies is freaking great fun and just awesome=CHECK!

Lets face it COD BO is a loaded game with top quality content. And yes the guns have more recoil now and the online is more balanced.

Nothing anyone can argue it is by far the greatest FPS game package ever released.

;)

PS. for $60 this game is worth it's weight in gold x10 it has just unmatched value with it's amount of great content.

MortgageMan007

The orange box thank you very much

the 360 has the superior version of the current console graphics king, RDR.

as for its FPS and RPG library, the 360 completely obliterates the ps3. the ps3 is so far behind that it's not even a contest.

KarateeeChop

no the console graphics king is Uncharted 2 RDR has a ton of problems but nice try

as for your question PS3 it has all the shooter multi plats plus killzone and resistance amd rpgs valkeryia and demon souls
