I finallly got the InFamous platinum! Jesus, the blast shards were a chore. Who else even bothered to do it?

Well, I've been wondering for a while if people play PS3 games for trophies or for just having fun. I myself am a trophy hunter and rarely buy games without trophies. (with the exception of guitar hero) But I went over to my friends house and his trophy list is full of bronzes. So give me your opinion on how you view trophies... lazy way to add replayability or pride earners?

Since its summer its the perfect time to startplaing games all day n night long.But lately I have been really bored with my 360 and I havewanted to get a ps3 ever since e3 but I herd that the price was going to get droped in august but I dont think I can wait that longsince all I do is go to summer school and afterwards go to football practice so by the time the price drop comes inAugustsummer will be almost over because school starts up for me at the end of August.By thetime I get home theres not really much time to reallyhang with friends plus imusually all soar from practiceso all I wonna do is play some games but my 360 games bore me now. So what should I do wait or just get one now, im planning ongetting the 80gb for $400 so does anyone know if that one is going to drop to $300 if not i might as well get one now.
