My 7900GS with 1gb RAM runs Bioshock everything High at 1440 x 900 resolution. No AA however. Solid FPS, no noticeable slowdown at all.

Wow...to all the idiots saying Starcraft 2 won't be great because it's not REVOLUTIONARY AND NEW, remind me why Starcraft 1 was so great. It wasn't revolutionary, it introduced no new concepts, it was just polished as hell and perfectly balanced. You can read gamespot's review, I believe even they mention that the original Starcraft is more of the same just perfectly executed. So shut up. Thank you.

[QUOTE="SavageBananaMan"][QUOTE="DirkVDV01"][QUOTE="SavageBananaMan"]want to spend about 40-50 on it. will http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182044 work with either of these cards?DirkVDV01
Avoid Rosewill like the plague. And going cheap on a PSU is never a good idea, BTW.

I have a 300w psu already, but according to Newegg that's not enough for the card. Are they exaggerating? And if rosewill is bad, can you please recommend me a better unit?

Recommended: Enermax: ENERMAX Liberty ELT620AWT OCZ: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXS-SLI Seasonic spec's Corsair PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX Another Enermax: Enermax Galaxy 850EWL Seasonic: SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT

Thanks for your help, though 500w and higher seems like complete overkill, I will check out lower end models from those brands.

First, which model do you think is better? there is less than a ten dollar difference so price is irrelevant. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130056 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143070 Please recommend a power supply to go with these cards, as the one I currently have is a measly 300w.

My system specs are: AMD athlon 64 bit 3800+ cpu, 1gb RAM, and Nvidia 6150 LE. Game lags pretty bad on lowest settings. Obviously i need a new card to run the game well, so i came here to ask for help. Would it be possible to get something that isnt too much more than $100 that would run the game smoothly on medium (or whatever setting looks nice or at least close to the xbox 360 version)? Will I need more memory or will a simple video card upgrade be enough? Thanks in advance for your help!

I already have a router connected to one computer and wireless internet for two others. I just want to know how to set up a local area connection between two computers (neither of them are directly connected to a modem). I don't know much about LAN, but it seems it can be used for many different purposes. I just want to be able to play a video game between the two. Thanks in advance for your help.

Always ask for the employees to check the "back." I had a Best Buy employee search on their database for puzzle quest and have it turn up no results, couldn't find it located anywhere in the store, nobody knew anything about it, until she went into the back. Five minutes later she comes back with a stack of six copies. Bottom line, not even the computer knows [censored]. Always make sure the employees check everything, chances are your local store has some. In my experience the website is the most reliable place to check if a store has something in stock.
