My favourite game of all time and still my favourite is unreal tournament instagib mutator.

When i first got ut3, i didnt like it at all because it didnt feel the same as the previous ut's. I perservered for a couple of weeks but gave up in the end. Then a friend of mine emailed me a config file for the game with a few minor tweaks. I swapped my config file for his one, WOW it feels just like ut again, a slightly speeded up version of 2k4, but still slower than ut99.

So again im addicted 2 this one game, this one game that keeps me away from playing and completing a back catalogue of ps3, pc, wii and 360 games that is getting larger cos i love these games but not as much as UT. I wish there was like 4 hours more chill time of an evening, so i could get my daily ut dose then play my other games.

However in my opinion there are a 3 BIG flaws:

1. Game feels strange/broken (as in the aiming aspect) without multiple .cfg changes. (Could be total crap, but i think this could be something to do with the game being made for both pc and console, where the aiming apparatus is different. Maybe the deveolpers just found a middle ground that works good on both mouse and controller, but not top notch on either).

2. Previous ut's had loads of different crosshairs to choose from, this one gives you two. I have become acustomed to using the triad(3) style ccrosshair for the last 7 years and now cannot choose it. Even though i have been using the provided ut3 crosshairs for about 5 months now i still wish i could use the triad.

3. The community is DEAD, there are periods of time in the day when i cant find a game of insta being played anywhere. This may be different in the states, but here in the uk it can be difficult. (Again probably me talking crap again but, maybe this has something to do with the game feeling broken with unmodified .cfg's, im thinking maybe there were lots of people who made the transition from 2k4 to ut3 and gave up on it like me because it felt so diff to the point of ultimate fustration. Never to come back because theyve picked up cod4 or some other great games that are out bout the same time, or never knew to change certain lines in their .cfg to make it feel "right" again.

Here to let the world know that my 4th xbox 360 has just rrod'. The third one which seems to be a gpu problem with the gfx becming all corrupt just b4 the rrod. However, i read on the forums people calling other people lyers for reporting high numbers of broken 360's, or blaming them for not looking after them. Well all mine have been on their own separate shelf, with no obstructions for air ventilation.

I however am not the only one in out of my group of friends to go through so many 360's. The highest i know of is one of my firends who's 7th box has just died. Out of all my friends there is only a couple who arent on atleast their second. I feel bad about this, as others in the office i work at have started to say that they may go down the ps3 route as they dont want to be lumbered with the hassle of getting another 360, especially as they only game occasionally and it aint the most important thing in the world to them. which is sad as they even agree that as a games console the 360 has the superior games.

Hi,

The problem is : As i click the exe to start the game my physx card starts up for like 1 second, the screen turns black. Then windows pops back up with an error box containg different codes and starting with the line ....An un-handled exception occured: 'Access violation exception'.

I have tried reinstalling my video card and physx drivers. I have also tried reinstalling the game. However still no luck :(

My pc config is 8800 gtx with ageia physx card running on vista 64 if that helps.
