I want a DVR / TiVo thingy for the PS3, to record live TV to the hard drive.Shtinky

Ages ago (E3 05 if memory serves) it was announced that the PS3 would have the same functionality as the LocationFree basestation as in it could stream TV to the PSP and could record it to the hard drive, but Sony have since gone quiet on the matter. Sounds like another downgrade :(

As for firmware updates, I want to see multiple functionality for the PS3 that isn't available in the PSP, i.e. I want to be able to play music whilst browsing the web.

According to kotaku, this is the remote to be used with the PS3. I know the pictures aren't great quality but I personally think it looks ugly :(

The PS2's remote's design went with the console itself, this one just looks archaic and out of place. My 10 year old VCR remote looks better! Of course it could just be a concept, like the batarang, but I doubt that something non essential like a remote redesign would be too high up the priorities list, especially with Sony's other woes.

Up close and personal :) You can see when the light goes over it at the end that it's almost transparent, like tinted glass or something.

#37 - If you're a Nintendo fan, graphics do not matter. Games can be entirely text based because the gameplay, which has absolutely nothing to do with graphics, is all that matters. If you're a Sony fan, the only true measure of a system is it's graphical power. If you're a Microsoft fan, you try to change the topic in all graphics conversations to how great xbox live is.

#37 - Graphics do not matter, in fact it has been rumoured that graphics are the work of Lucifer himself. Nintendo fans would rather all their games be entirely text based, as graphics in any form are not necessary, as the gameplay, which has absolutely nothing to do with graphics, is all that matters.

37 b) Except for Resident Evil 4. That game is superior because of the graphics. The PS2's version is clearly inferior, as there is no lightning and clothes don't change for the cutscenes. And the 8 or so extra hours of gameplay were unecessary, making anyone who played through Seperate Ways a casual of the highest order.
