Isn't there supposed to be an hour or so of demo play? I'd consider that fairly long for a demo.

Well I'm a FF fan and you make it sound like this is the worst FF yet. The fact that it being simplistic, a button masher, no leveling system as of yet and super linear paths. Are all negative aspects. I hope the full game isnt this dumbed down. All icing with no cake. Thats the worst that can happen. Sacrificing depth and quality to cater to the graphics whores.

This sounds like a real disappointing demo, if their going to make a demostration next time put the stuff in that makes it a JRPG. I'd rather have a 10 minute demo with all the good stuff rather than 1 hour demo packed full of nothing.

Observation opinions.
- Throughout the gameplay, there is a small mini-map, compass shaped on the top right corner that contributes to blocking the screen during gameplay. Given that the game is built to be straightforward, no freeroaming or exploring; one straight hallway with mobs approaching after every minute, the only use of that compass is to collect a small portion of money that are hidden between a wall and debris.
- Limited options during battle for both characters. Each are equipped with a set of 5 combos and a healing ability. Can't actually figure most of it since it's in Japanese.
- Remarkably short, expected it to last alittle longer even after watching the introduction scene and all other cutscenes offered.
- Found the concept of PSICOM troops scared and fleeing from a small batch of resistance appauling.
- Did not feel the intense or heart-pounding feeling while watching battle scenes. MGS4 had a moderatley effect.
- Nice graphics, hot chick, decent gameplay, simplistic, one button mashing.
Overall, final fantasy fans will find this as another fine game made by Square Enix. Other gamers would find it either fun or moderatley fine to kill time and find it enjoyable.

My favorite (PS3 exclusive) villain is Liquid Ocelot. He is such a sly, and witty bastard. And that last fight was just so awesome. MGS4 just did about everything right, the multi-player is it's Achilles' heel.

I visit the PS3 thread occasionally, though I wouldn't call it an addiction. I only visit topics that are detailed or significant. I don't visit "Should I get X or X?", "read this!" or "help my PS3..." topics and any other stupid/pointless/unsignificant/waste of time as they are made specifically to draw/lure attention.

289,520 was the Highest amount of caps I've got on my second playthrough on the PS3 version. I spent most of my time grinding, and side quests.
