I forgot to mention this! We got two new pep band songs, which probably cost a lot and I forgot to ask, and they are 'All the Small Things' and 'Hey Ya.' Both are REALLY fun to play, and I'm glad we have them- they don't sound too bad either :D

Well, I already posted this in the musician's union, but what the heck. It turns out, the max repair cost will be about $60 and it'll take two weeks or less, but more so less because they said that the damage was in a really easy place to get to and fix. :D:D:D:D So I'm much better now, and not as worried.

THE BELL OF MY HORN IS BENT MAJORLY AND I AM SO ANGRY!! I have no idea how it happened, but it did, and it's huge, and I'm so upset.

I JUST WANT TO KICK SOMETHING! OR SOMEONE! Now it has to be repaired, and I'm going to hear it from my parents since they are paying for it, and I cannot since I don't have a job. OOH! I'm so mad!

So, it turns out, I'm still really tired. But marching band is ALMOST over. Competition tomorrow, added game next week, and three weeks after that, PLUS Orchestra started today, which is cool. But now it is the weekend! And I have to read 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower,' research and do a power point on geography themes/ideas of the Hebrews, catch up on Algebra 2 homework since I missed class on Tuesday for band, as well as CP Physics, work on an audition piece for Wind Ensemble, All State Band/Orchestra/Jazz (!!!), and try to sleep and play some more WindWaker. But it's all good I suppose....this is really becoming more of a planner than a journal almost, lol.

Okay, so we had competition on Saturday, and it turns out we actually took 7th, not 8th, which is good. I had Monday off, and then yesterday I had competition- this was regionals. Our band doesn't have a great reputation, but we've always made it to quarter finals. This year, however, we didn't, which is very disappointing. We placed 16th out of 22 bands- so...yeah. Anywho, I missed some of school to go, so I had to get caught up on that homework today, plus the homework they assigned today, and the homework from the classes I didn't miss. We stil have rehearsal tomorrow night, and then Saturday is more competition at Castle Rock. And since we won't be going to quarter finals, but still have busses, the whole band is going to a haunted house, which kicks. So of cours, we wont be going to state-finals on Saturday, but this organization is having a 'brunch' kinda meeting, so they called the high school and asked if our Jazz Ensemble could play at it. They're paying us about $500 for 45 minutes! How cool is that? This is my first paid gig- so awesome. Anywho, the week after that is our Jazz concert, and the week after that is a Jazz festival, and then November fifth is our last football game, kind of a long season. So where marching band leads off, jazz picks up....and I guess I just keep going, lol. I'm getting really tired, but it's all worth it. So my next post may be tomorrow or Friday....but most likely Sunday, lol. I should finish my HW and get some sleep, so g'ntie! -Ryan
