Such a Fanboy

I can't WAIT to get my hands on the DS. I'm really anticipating Nov. 21st, but more so anticipating the conference on Oct. 7 to hear how much game paks will be and what the online capabilities are. I SO cannot wait- it's just too good to pass up, no matter the cost.

G'nite

Just got home from practice and I'm so sore, but I'd better get my homework done. Just popped in to post a bit on EMB and DS forums, so g'nite.

Sig Request

Hi. I want to request a sig. If anyone has time to make me one, could they please include Samus? I really don't have any specifications, I'd just like one. It's either the computer or using Photobucket that reduces the quality of my signature, and frankly, I just don't like the way it looks. So if someone could make one for me, that'd be awesome. Thanks.

Stuff cubed

As I have said, I'm really busy. Tonight I have marching band rehearsal. Oh, I found out that Northglenn won on Saturday- the band I thought was worst, the judges thought was best. Oh well. Instead of competing in Douglas County two weeks from now, we're going to CSU next week and rehearsing the Saturday that was supposed to be other competition, either way, a lot of playing. I'm only on for a little bit, but I should probably go. I just got home from school, but I need to eat dinner, do any homework I can, and finish whatever I don't know when I get back at 9:30. Cya

I finally got a SNES!

Growing up, we had a NES, and it somehow disappeared. Whatever happened...we never had a SNES, crazy, huh? But recently, my friend told me that he was selling a few of his systems since he doesn't play them anymore. I only had SOME money, so I really couldn't buy them all, but he was selling his SNES for $50. It came with about 16 games and 2 controllers, so I got a pretty sweet deal. Check out my collection to see which ones I got since I don't feel like listing them all here, but I will tell you I got Gaia, so w00t! Yeah, I completely forgot about mentioning this in my last entry, so here it is. It's so cool because I missed the old side-scrolling adventures of Mario, but now I have them. My next ambition is to buy Super Metroid. I found a copy at my local U Play, but I need to get some money first.

Back in business...or rather surfing

Howdy. Recently, my old computer became too much of a hassle to work with, so my parents agreed to get me a new one. It's a Compaq Presario and it's one hot little machine. It just runs so sleekly...I love it! The last time my computer was 'new' was 7 years ago, lol. Anywho, I'll probably be able to be on more now since we're getting broadband from Qwest, w00t! Anywho, school is so easy right now, I should have joined I.B. (International Bauchalaurette.) But marching is going well, except there was a suicide at our school last weekend, and a lot of band students knew him (I didn't) and his funeral was today, so a lot of them wanted to go. Well, we were supposed to perform at the Friendship Cup Competition in Littleton, but so many people (including our drum major) would've been gone, so we just pulled out. However, three of my friends and I went and watched anyway since we are complete band geeks. It was weird because this year, there weren't that many good performances, even from those you'd expect them from. Northglenn is a school that took the world title in '97 I believe, and this year, they did some 'Celtic Portrait' that I thought was just terrible. Oh well, another competition (one we're never in) heard we had to pull out of this one under certain circumstances, so they invited us to it, and that's in a couple weeks. So we now get to do that (yay!), our football shows, and THEN regionals isn't too far away, then quarter finals, and then state. I hope we make it far this year, I think we have a good show. Last year, we did 'Variations on a Korean Folk Song' and it was terrible. But we may also get to march the Parade of Lights this year, too, so I'm really excited for band. Plus this new computer....I may just burst... or not. I should probably go do my homework for now since I was gone yesterday evening (saw Garden State finally and it was awesome [Natalie Portman is SUCH a good actress]) and today at the competition. I have to do a project on 'The Odyssey,' so, fun times. Cya. :P

Entry #1

Well, I am 15 right now, and learning how to drive. So this morning, I was woken up early to go out and drive for a bit on major roads with little traffic. After that, I got home and had to wash the mini-van, because, yes, that's what I get to cruise around in at the moment. Other than than, I read The Odyssey a bit, read a bit of Jesus Freaks, and played Pokemon Sapphire for quite some time. It's about 2:23 PM mountains standard time, and I'm about to go finish my English homework. My weeks are very busy, so I sort of dread them, but they are fun. I've played classical and jazz trumpet for about 4 and 1/2 years now and was in marching band last year, as well as this year. We had our first football game last Thursday, and have one again THIS Thursday for Homecoming. I also have practice Tuesday, and if we have no games during the week, we have rehearsal everyTuesday and Thursday from5-9. After school on Mondays and Fridays, I have Knowledge Bowl, and on Wedesdays, one right after the other, I have Goulash (Our school's creative magazine, Intercessors (Bible study), and then my city's Teen Advisory Council. Right now at the school, I am working with two other individuals on creating a program to help students called the Student Body Betterment Program, so when that gets going, I'll hardly have time for everything else. But after marching band season is over in November, I'll have an easier schedule with a trip to Florida for Wind Ensemble competition in the spring, and I've never done school sports, (or any for that matter, the only thing I've done was soccer for four years), but this year, I'm joining the swim team. As if I weren't doing enough, I'm writing a series of books, six to be exact. They are based upon a super-villain who faces treachery with aliens in the younger years of his life and his life alters from then on. He struggles through the first three books, called Switchblade, and the following three are about his inverted self with a massive army that'd been in assembley for years. My protagonist has ties with the underworld, and summons that army, which isn't large enough, so he calls on his victimizers, the aliens, to support him. So it's an intergalactic/androidal/spirit sort of war played over three books. I know I'm just rambling here, but once I have a few polished paragraphs, I'd be glad to share them with you all, that way you get the gist of what I'm writing. Anywho, I should get going, and write an entry tomorrow possibly....and if not then, probably Friday or Saturday. Tty'all later.
