Do you have any games that you absolutely hated, and didn't understand what all the fuss was about? I'll start:

1) BioShock

2) Oblivion

3) Final Fantasy Tactics

Battlefield Bad Company 2. I bought it to play with an friend an quit after 10 minutes. Thought it was the dumbest game ever. I went back to it after about 5 months and loved it.

Why can't you just get both? I know I have both Battlefield: Bad Co. 2 and Black Ops and I play them both. I tend to get tired of Black Ops after a few matches (kinda repetitive), but can play BFBC2 for hours.

Also, I know this has been beaten to death, but MW3 is really the game that broke the camels back for me. I'm completely surprised that they have the balls to release a game that is EXACTLY like MW2. I'll probably end up buying it because I want to have the competition, but I'm definitely not pre-ordering it. I have a feeling that Black Ops will have full servers even after MW3 comes out. Just pop in MW2 and you'll see what I mean.

Just read the article about the high resolution option on the console version of BF3. Does anyone have (or found) a comparison of regular installation screens vs. high-res? I'd like to see the difference. Also, was the beta high-res?

I know a lot of people complained about the graphics in the beta, but I thought they were pretty damn amazing (even on the 360). I remember playing the Halo: Reach beta and thinking, "Really? This is what the graphics will look like?". I can't think of another game, other than Crysis 2, that has looked as good as the BF3 beta (at least in the FPS genre).

.

.

Sidenote: does anyone think the SCAR-H was impossible to control in the beta? The kickback was HUGE on that gun.

Well a console generation has never lasted this long. We are nearing 7 years with the Xbox 360, and the PCs that are being used to develop games on are much more powerful and have more sophisticated development software.

P.S. The battlefield 3 screen you showed was from a PC version cinematic.

What amazes me more is the fact that SONY hasn't hopped on the bandwaggon. They have always been the first company to screw their consumers, yet PSN is still free. I can't explain this.
