Another amazing looking game, that looks very real at times, is Metro LL. The only downside with it is the character models.

Crysis 3's an amazing looking game, but of course it will be surpassed, either by Star Citizen, UC4, or some other title. BF4's another game that's up there with Crysis 3.

@uninspiredcup : PS4 gamers have UC4, and the Order. PC gamers have Star Citizen, and SW:BF, maybe Crysis 3 too. XB1 has maybe... Quantum Break ? Star Citizen has a higher ceiling then anything though.

Crysis is a beautiful game, but the one you see in all the pictures is modded. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just saying Crysis stands as a graphics showpiece today because modding extended it's lifespan. With all the mods, you can get photo real foliage, trees, grass, realistic lighting, better water, better textures everywhere.

haha, I'm sure I've been called that at some point. But in all honesty, I put Crysis 3 above PS4's current stuff, but UC4 and the Order also look better than Crysis 3 imo. I'm interested to see Star Citizen next year though, and if SW:BF ends up looking like that reveal trailer, where it was nearly lifelike. But really who knows. The Order's game play from the E3 a year ago looked pretty damn good.

Yeah, but there's SW:BF coming out for pc, then there's Star Citizen, which by this time next year, should be unbelievable, especially with the high poly character models most likely coming in August. I also heard about a game called Get Even which is supposed to be impressive, but who knows on that one. Besides that though, the Order and UC4 look more impressive then current pc games, but we'll have to see.

Here's SW:BF and Star Citizen. We're definitely getting into photo realism pretty soon here.

@miiiiv : Arma really does look impressive, especially for the ridiculous level sizes. I also heard that Infamous' whole map is 11m poly's. You probably have a few million on screen at once. I remember Crysis 2 having a part with like 3m in one scene on pc, and I'm sure Crysis 3 blows C2 out of the water.

you misunderstood my comment. KZ's a nice looking game no doubt, it's just the trees/plants that don't look that good, it's the only real downside to the graphics. KZ3 was one of my favorite PS3 games, and I kind of preferred that art style, but KZSF's is still pretty good.

@m3dude1: Couldn't you say the same thing about UC4 though ? Both trailers are in-engine. Dice being behind it gives me more faith that it will look like this. The version of BF4 they used for the reveal is the same as the one that was released. Dice doesn't seem to do downgrade's.
