***Year End Awards (cont.)***

Well, I'm continuing the trend with Anime Character of the Year and Anime/*** song of the year. Let's start off with Anime Character of the Year shall we?

And the nominees are:

Allen Walker (D.Grayman)

Tsuna Sawada (Reborn!)

Lelouch Vi Britannia (Code Geass)

And

Yusei Fudo (Yugioh 5Ds)

And the winner is...

[spoiler] Lelouch Vi Britannia. On this one I really couldnt really go on who looked most badass or acted most badass. I had to go with the most interesting. And Lelouch defentinly fit that catorgoy. I watched each episode of Code Geass just constantingly thinking "How he's gonna deal with this situation?" And it usually ended with him doing something totally unexpected and entertaining. Seeing his plans unfold was really compeling to watch and kept me wanting more. Although, whole reason for doing it was a little bit dull for my taste. how he was doing it and getting it done was just amazing. Lelouch Vi Britannia is my pick for Anime Character of the year. If you didn't already know, I listen to A LOT of anime songs more than I listen to english songs lol And I really just have to give an award to the one I though was the best his year

Kaidoku Funou - Code Geass

There's a lot more than this. I really had 10 but I had to reduce it to save space.This one was a little hard to decide but I'm happy with my choice :D

And the winner for Anime Song is....

Kaidoku Funou - Code Geass. It came down between this and Hikari Sasuhou. Both have catchy rings to it that I just kept rewinding again and again just to listen to one part. But kaidoku Funou took it because I've listened to it over 700 times on itunes.

Movie of the Year

This one is almost too obvious so really I'm not gonna waste anytime with nominees:

This movie was just too EPIC for words. Although, I think Heath Ledger is getting too much prasie for it such as potentially winning a Golden Glode award. It is still an awesome movie that every person on the planet probably saw. lol Seriosuly Dark Knight almost surpassed Titianic (money making wise).

Pros:
Heath Ledger (Pretty much made the movie epic)
The Best Comic Movie your going to be talking about for a LONG time
Two-Face (Now where near as good as Joker but still ok)
Captured the very essance of Batman

Cons:
Batman's Voice (I'm sorry I had to put my ears though that)

Well, that's pretty much it for this award. Dark Knight, movie of the year for me. Honsetly who was surpised here? lol

Greetings All! It's been a good while since I've made a blog but I'm back! :D

It's the end of the year and in the month of Demember I will start my Best of 08 Awards Ceremony. Every week I will post at least 2 awards. The selecions are:

It was a regular day… Work was surprisingly easy… After work I go to the store to buy a mess of snacks… I call my parents to pick me up… We go to Baskin Robbins get some Ice Cream… We make the final turn to get home and BANG! A police car rams the back of my Dad's car with me in the backseat… The car turns horizontal and another on coming car rams the front of the car…

My first ever car accident…

My parents are shocked and crying. Pain rushing though my back, I countinously tell my parents we can't stay in the car. They aren't hearing me. My side door is completely destroyed. I lean back and kick the window off. I lean halfway out the car to make sure and tell traffic has completely stopped. I jump out the car and get my mom out who is crying and shouting God's name.

The guy that rammed us in the front calls the police and ambulance. My parents and I sit on the sidewalk as police come and question us. I see the cop that rammed us. I swear the only thought going though my mind at the point was to KILL that guy… Leering at him my hands trembling, teeth grinding and eyes filling with water, I get ready to stand to my feet and as soon as I do my mom tells me to call my brother… I do as she asks…. I call my brother to tell him come and as I was about go into detail about what happened my cell phone dies…

A couple minutes later my brother comes running screaming out horrid cries fearing for the worst (His screaming are still going though my mind)

THANK GOD it wasn't a fatal accident. But really a freaking cop hits us? I mean WTF? We were fully stopped to make the turn and our left signal light was on. We have two witnesses that saw everything. The cop that hit us didn't even say one word to us. What scares me the most is if the second car that hit us was a truck (I highly doubt I'd be alive)

But that doesn't nearly top the thought I got when I was in the ambulance thinking to myself if my mom or dad died it would be my fault. The feeling was so heavy and cold… I guess almost understand how some of those anime characters feel lol.

Anyway, I'm fine my back just hurts…

Yea... And I would say a good 10 of them came from resign and joining various unions :lol: Other than that I don't even wanna know :lol: (I'm just plain lazy to go back and delete them)

But the real reason I've wrote this blog is because I need more Unions to post at. It's getting kinda boring posting in the Toonami Union all the time. (Not that its a boring place its pretty dame active)

I just need other unions to post at. So if you guys know any ACTIVE unions (mainly gaming or anime, no naruto or bleach unions) tell me and you might have another active member there soon ;)

On a side note I've brought Tickets to the New York Anime Festival on September 27.

Me and my friend are going. I'm gonna bring at least $300 to spend, probably on posters and manga and idk :lol: Should be kick ass. Can't wait to see all the cosplaying chicks :D If your lucky you might see a pic of yours truly in the next blog ;)

If you want me to check out something there he's a grid of all the stuff that's gonna be happen. To be honest, I'm not really interested in anything on there :lol: but who knows it might spark my interest when I get there.

*Shadow-Elite Out*

Alright I tried to find a good title for the blog but it just wasn't working so yea

Anyway, this has got to be one of my best birthdays yet. I got off of work at 11pm and to my surpise a close friend of mine Ryan got out at the same time as me and got a ride from his friend so he gave me a ride. We was in the car talking about its about to be my birthday in one hour and I jokely said "Yo lets go to a strip club!" And they both were like "F*CK YEA! LETS GO B!"

(told my parents we were going to hooters)

And before I knew we were in a strip club getting throwing 1 dollar bills at these ridoucsoly hot chicks.

Then it was 80 bucks to get a lap dance and my friend mention it was my birthday to the chick so I got the special birthday lap dance and it was SOoOoOoOoO AWESOME! This chick was grinding me like crazy it was freakin sweet 8)

So pretty much after that we left the place I got home at about 6. Went to sleep got up at 11 to buy my birthday games:

Its alright I knew what to expect but I'll probably end up trading it in sometime down the line. 7.0/10

It awesome lots of blood but the graphics suck 8.0/10 so far

The controls are kinda awkard but I can get used to them and background music and character design are awesome! :D 8.8/10

Now if you know me, you already what I'm going to say about this so i'm not gonna say things like "this is the way one piece is meant to be seen" "its pefect" "funmation did it right" "One Piece is saved" nah i'm not gonna say those things so yea 9.8/10 :P

And thats pretty much it all I'm waiting for right now is my Biirthday PIE. Yes, thats right I said pie. I have pie for my Birthday instead of cake. Sweet Potato Pie is my cake. And Ive being doing this every year since my 15th birthday :lol:

(The Return of Shadow-Elite)

-Shadow-Elite has returned from an almost two month hiatus-

My name is Thomas A. Anderson and I have exlusive coverage of Shadow-Elite's return! I am now sitting with Shadow conducting a series of questions on his sudden dispparance and return!

Tom: Shadow, I'm just going to get straight to the point of why, why did you leave gamespot for almost two months??

Me/Shadow: Well, to be honest Tom I was getting a little addicted to this place lol but not only that I needed to find some sense of usefulness after I completed my first year of college so I decided to make sure I found a job. And decided not to ever come back until I found one.

Tom: Well, I assume you've found one by now? And where

Shadow: lol of course I have a job at Target. I actually found it a couple of weeks after I left but I decided not to come back then.

Tom: Why not?

Shadow: Well, since I've have always wanted a laptop I decided that my next post on here would be on my laptop. So I saved up and got this:

Its a Dell Inspiron Jet Black, It cost me $556 (with wireless mouse), comes with Windows Vista, 140GB of space, and 2GB RAM. I'm very happy with it. :D

Tom: Wow it looks like when you make a plan for yourself you stick with it lol.

Shadow: :lol: Yea, I try my best to see things through to the end.

Tom: Well, now that you've returned what are your plans??

Shadow: Its quite simple actually I'm gonna return to the Toonami Union and Shonen Manga Union maybe find a new union (A gaming union most likely)

Tom: Well, there you have it folks Shadow-Elite has returned more powerful than ever!

The Shonen Manga Union

My Union, the Shonen Manga Union is... Dead... :(:cry: I thought it could survive with such a kick ass union game but it would seem that it wasn't enough. *chuckle* With only 1 post a week (mostly me) and ALL my officers leaving the place is a graveyard. *smirk* I guess I wasn't ready to handle my own union... I am really hurt by this and deeply depress--- HAHAHAHAHAH!! HAHAHAHA! Wow, couldn't type that with a striaght face :lol: :lol: :lol:

To be Honset my Union is busting out with activity that I can't handle it sometimes :lol: With the Union game is doing great! With 17 Battles already compelete and 17 anime/manga characters chosen its really going crazy.

The Toonami Union

This place stays blooming with actively that sometimes I don't understand it. :lol: Everything about the union kicks ass and it has a great tournement going called the Dimension Wars. My team is holding on by a thread (but not everything is what it seems with my battle ;) )

Anime and Manga

Thanks to a certain thread in the Toonami Union I started back watching D. Gray-man again and it just kicks ass. I'm up to episode 40 of 82 (82 epiodes so far its still going)

I've also picked up another anime called KIBA. VERY EASY to get into. Up to Episode 10 of 51. (I take turns watching this and D.Grayman.

A friend of mine has convinced me to start reading the Air Gear manga again after finishing the Anime a long time ago. I am up to chapter 110 of 199. So I gotta crap load to read. :lol: (I'm not gonna drop it this time... I hope :lol: )

ANYWAY! This wouldn't be my blog without the occaisonal EYE CANDY SO ENJOY!! :twisted:

:D OH YEA! I'm going to Comic Con 2008! :D

This Saturday, April 19 I will be going to Comic Con.

Now I could really care less about Comic Con but my brother is a huge HUGE DC/Superman fan (He has the death of superman issue) And its so close since we live in New Jeresy and its only a bus ride away (Only 45 min express bus to New York Port Authority and from there about 6-7 blocks to the Jacab Javits Center)

I'm really in this for the new Anime and stuff that is going to be there and to see some cosplaying chicks. Don't worry I'll take lots of pic and post them up here. ;)

So I'm wondering how much money should I bring? Its mainly a comic fest and I don't really care for comics. My brother is gonna bring around 300 bucks so I'll probably have about 200. I may end up buying some Anime Statues or something idk. :D

So what should I expect from Comic Con this year?

P.S I'll bring any news about any upcoming anime or comic stuff I find out about. (Probably present it at the Toonami Union ;) )
