I dont have a World of Warcraft account, I have a lifeBooty998
yeah, like none of the 10 million people that play WoW have a life, are you serious?
will it upscale dvds to 720 then?hip-hop-cola2
yes...if you have it hooked up via HDMI
[QUOTE="supersnake930"]yeah, i know what you are saying man. that would be pretty awesome. mgo is going to be a starter pack when you purchase mgs4. it comes with mgs4 free.forgot_my_name
Really? Free? Is it some kind of only collectors edition thing? Or all MGS 4 games?
nope it comes with the normal MGS4, a collectors edition hasnt even been announced, so i think your safe if you just want the barebones version
Madden 08 is a much better choice cause soccer sucks so much.

it would help if you supported your argument...
I have the 40Gb. Yes, PS1 games work well on the PS3. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what makes BC work on the 80Gb and not the 40Gb? I'm assuming they have somewhat different hardware inside (besides the hard drive)....bdmckinley
yes they have different hardware
the reason why the 60gb/20gb have almost full backwards compatibility is because they have all the ps2/ps1 hardware in them, the emotion engine and the graphics synthesizer (GPU)
the 80Gb only physically has the graphics synthesizer, it emulates the emotion engine, which puts it around 75%BC
the 40Gb has neither the emotion engine nor graphics synthesizer, which results in 0%Bc
yep i have a 20gb ps3
differences:
harddrive size (duh)
no memorystick/sd/compact flash slots
no wireless internet
no chrome trim
sigh...for everyone thats like "wait i thought that..."
US PS3 SKU
60Gb- ~99%BC with ps2 and ps1 games
20GB- ~99%BC with ps2 and ps1 games
40GB- ~99%BC with ps1 games
80GB- ~75%BC with Ps2 and 99% ps1 games
you CAN play ps1 games on ALL SkU's and you CAN play ps1 games over remote play
