They will never bring back b/c on the 40Gb because to do that you would all need to return the ps3 back to sony for them to place the emulation chip in it to run ps2 games therefore it wil never happen:D

sotware emulation. could be downloaded. the 80gig uses software emulation and i heard it can play like 97% of the PS2 games

cant be downloaded, you still need some physical compenents to have the BC of 80gb or 60gb
and its more like 75% of ps2 games, the 97% figure is for the 60/20gb ps3s

you can use remote play from anywhere in the world, as long as their is a WIFI connection where you are connecting

you can only play one ps3 game that im aware of through your psp, Lair, you can play downloaded PSN games and ps1 games through it too
