I think Sleeping Dogs should be considered as well. The fresh utilisation of HK influence and breathtaking city backdrops, combined with shooting/fighting/racing/cawk fighting/miscellaneous open-world shenanigans make it a very well rounded game.

Nah, I've got Blacklight Retribution and CS 1.6 so I think I'm pretty much good to go should the need arise to do any competitive shooting.
The reasons are pretty simple:
1) I LOVE women and appreciate their beauty.
2) To be able to create and customize a female character according to my personal ideals, is awesome to me.
3) I care a LOT more about my character if it's female.
4) Men are very boring to look at. Even women prefer looking at women.
5) I'm the #1 guy in my life, I don't feel a need to take care of a male character.
6) I'm incredibly secure and tolerant as a person so I have no problems with it.
7) When I play as a female character, I make it pretty obvious to everyone that I'm a guy (voicechat, grotesque/badass username, etc). No surprises here.
I prefer most of the weapon sounds from MW3 over the ones from Blops. I love how solid they seem, when compared to Blop's electric airsoft sounds.

My friend tried to play Dead Island (also an open world game) and suddenly his computer fans went insane. Then his GPU fried. I have not experienced any such problems, on the contrary.
Yes.

edit: and what season was it? also, the last game i wplayed, it was temps were like at 65 c
also: can a dead fan on a psu make a gpu hotter?
Your specs are more than sufficient, I'd still be cautious though.
I don't remember what season exactly.
Yes you should get that PSU fan fixed. You want your PSU functioning at its best at all times. Every second that you don't, you're basically looking at a time bomb.

Yes.
Futuristic soldiers tactically killing aliens, or fantasy characters killing hostile creatures/players using self-sufficient skillsets? Which sounds more appealing?
I do not regret purchasing GW2 one bit, the game is well designed. But right now I would love to play some XCOM since I've already been into GW2 for about 3 weeks (I love it but I don't love it enough to be attached to it).
You're only deciding between two games, I would say flip a coin.
Got some screenshots of my characters to share : D
My mesmer is cute!!!
She can't fire a rifle but she did the training for it anyway xD
Then there's my badass Engie!
And finally an obligatory OBJECTION from our favorite mesmer!!!
I usually spend around 2 weeks playing a new game regularly. This means I beat the singleplayer, beat coop, and played all the maps before premium and DLC. I liked the game, but I wasn't obsessed with it, so I went on to do other activities.
Pretty normal reaction, right? I don't play too many games where I feel the absolute need to max out my character or completely unlock everything. I'm initially there for the broad experience, since there are many other things in life I enjoy other than the latest games.
I had great expectations of BF3 and most of them were met, so I believe I got what I paid for. Other people's opinions may vary : P
