@EMPTY-V True, splinter cell has more stealth and metal gear has more action. But that's not something superior or inferior from any of both games, that's just a matter of preference. Splinter cell also has a more realistic setting while metal gear combines realism with little scince-fiction, but again that's not something superior or inferior from either, just a matter of preference.
What is actually "superior" in splinter cell? only a VERY FEW gameplay mechanics. On the other hand, metal gear games have always been much more innovative between previus and next game; better quality overall (visuals and sounds); more rich, interesting and fun to play like boss battles, etc (splinter cell gets boring after some time); and like you said, much better storytelling.
@Vividnightmare "moron"? stop acting like a fanboy. I loved david hayter's voice acting but we need to admit he is NOT at the level of sutherland. You need to remember too that Kojima needed someone to do both voice acting AND facial capture. It's not Kojima's fault that hayter sucks with facial acting.
@zura_janai @deathcon4 Let alone MGS, but the first MG in 1987 invented what "stealth game" is. All the first splinter cell had superior to metal gear (only at that time) was the camera.
