Any time you expect it, know that it's EXTREMELY PUNISHABLE when it misses, and it's not even that safe on block. So if you see it coming and feel pretty sure about it, just do an early crossup and land a jump-in combo of your choosing.

I was thinking about that after we fought, that either staying away from it or doing an early crossup and end with combo would do the trick against it.

Its an easy approach that stops all blanka balls. if you a susepct a horizontal ball do a cr.lp you can knock him out of it. It makes it much easier to close in on blanka. Of course once you get in thats for you to figure you out.

GGs Shen!

I had a few matches with him and it was frustrating tonight. I was not a happy camper.

Some of the moves and combos I wanted to pull off didn't come out the way I wanted it too and I could not believe that Cody's jumping air kick that major priority. Such BS! I couldn't believe it! It pissed me off that some of the things that he got away with with Cody.

What was my fault was trying to for a regular Hurricane kick, thinking it would get him or would at least pass by, but one of his punches stopped it. I did manage to get in a few Ultras and Supers on Shen, which was nice for a change.

Still...frustration is the mood that I'm for tonight. Not that he's bad, which he isn't, but just some of the timing and accuracy of my stuff just didn't come out. Perhaps I'm getting burned out on Ryu. I need a change of pace...
