@Makc2 The load-out weapons are the exact same type that you would spawn with in previous Halo games. AR, BR, DMR, SMG and their Covenant and Forerunner counterparts.

There will NOT be any power weapons like the rocket launcher, energy sword, gravity hammer, fuel rod gun and sniper rifle, available in player load-outs. Those will still be on the map like they always have been or possibly in the ordinance drops (which anyone can pick up once it's landed).

I really doubt that having the option to choose between spawning with the gray DMR or spawning with the purple DMR (the Carbine) before you hit the matchmaking button, will throw off game balance. Quit overreacting.

@IrishSweenz1790 I liked CoD better when the multiplayer used fixed classes. It actually gave people a specific purpose and role in the battles and promoted team play instead of the one man circus that every player in CoD is now.. CoD 3 was a great example of this.

Not to mention it was actually balanced.

@tylergamereview He was referring to the way you unlock better weapons when you rank up in CoD. Not actually finding them in the match.

Starting with junk weapons and going for high powered end tier weapons.

He's saying that won't happen in Halo 4. All the load-out weapons are available from the start to keep experienced players from having a cheap advantage over new ones. It'll come down to actual skill instead of unlocks and badly balanced guns to decide who wins.

@fallin75 Wait how do you know about fighting against armorlock if you don't have a 360? Reach is only on one platform. @_@

@mpikatellis Not their fault that the PS3 isn't very developer friendly.

This or Dawnguard? Want both and love both games but for now Dawnguard seems like a better deal.

@Smith7010 Awww hell I had forgotten about those things. Now THAT was a way to sell some pizza! I wish they'd do stuff like that again. But most demos these days kinda suck. Except for maybe the Sniper Elite one. That one's pretty sick.

No offense but I think this guy is a little slow. The longer the generation the better. For gamers and developers.

It saves both sides a lot of money in the long run. Gamers don't have to shell out a couple hundred for a new console every 3 years. And the developers don't have to spend the billions on building and developing consoles and the tech to run games on them as soon as they just got done perfecting and doing the same on their last one.

Not to mention that most games released at launch tend to be inferior in quality to the latest games released on the previous generation because the devs have to spend a bunch of time and money to adjust to the new software and hardware. A prime example of this is Conker: Live and Reloaded for xbox and Perfect Dark Zero for 360.

Both were made by Rare yet Conker out performed PDZ in almost every way. Comparable graphics and much more stable gameplay than PDZ.

It's better for gamers to regularly update and existing console over throwing it out and starting from scratch. It's why this console generation has lasted so long. Most people don't want to waste all the money and effort to get a new console these days when regular upgrades keep breathing life into the perfectly good consoles we already have.

All the console devs wanted the consoles in this generation prioritize online play and connectivity. What they didn't realize is that connection is what's keeping those consoles from going obsolete. Previous consoles didn't last as long because they were primarily used offline and were harder to update.

I liked this ending but it kinda makes any new games they have planned for this universe pointless if this is accepted as the main canon.

I mean who can really threaten the galaxy now? With the Reapers under control the good guys have basically found the "I win" button and taped it down indefinitely.

Hit the Reaper attack button and then the credits roll. Bad guy defeated. Any new games would have to be a prequel if this ending is accepted as canon. And you know there's going to be more Mass Effect games...
