What I got for my Wii on Christmas, was actually more than I expected. I got Wiii Speak as a Wii acessory as well as the Balence Board, so that's Wii Fit, and then Guitar Hero World Tour, the full band edition with the guitar, drums, and microphone. I also got Mario Kart Wii, with the Wii Wheel, and Castlevania Judgement and Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, and also a Wii Points Card. My friend Brenton is gonna use some of his Christmas money to buy Wii Speak because so he can use the Wii Speak Channel and so he can play Anlimal Crossing with Wii Speak with me, cause he has AC, but I'm gonna buy AC tomorrow with some Christmas money. So that will be cool. Anyway, Guitar Hero is awesome! My brother, his freinds and I were playing online and it was just so funny cause everyone was singing lyrics that were somewhat innopropriate and that if I said them on here, I would be banned. (No pun intended.) Castlevania Judgement is actually a pretty good fighting game, and it's Wi-Fi, but I haven't played it that much yet. Mario Kart is cool too, I like to play online on that too. I see alot of people from other countries on there. Wii Fit, does actually work you out, it's not a gimmick. I lost 2.4 pounds in one day on that thing! Man, that games is pretty hard if your doing the running excersise. (Which I do alot.) Man, it knows your weight, and im fat, so when it saw my weight, my Mii got so fat, it was funny. Rayman is pretty fun, but mostly only fun with people around to play with, and I just noticed today that it was Wi-Fi compatible, so I'm probably gonna play that more. There is more than 1 mini-game where you sit on your butt so that is cool if you have the Balence Board with that game. My friend's birthday is tomarrow, so I bought him 2 VC games with my Wii Points card, Zelda OoT and LttP. And it's kinda cool that my birthday is on the day after his. I don't know what he's gonna get me. I have about 96 dollars in cash so either I'm gonna buy AC or another Wii game or AC and DBZ Season One. I don't know, I just like DBZ. So, what Wii related stuff did you get for the holidays?

My favorites were VII and VIII. I dont know why anyone doesnt like VIII, it was the first one to have realistic characters and it had a good junction system.

You should invest in a used PS2 because it has a large library of games with lots of variety. And a used one is pretty cheap. You can get PS2 games on the cheap, just go on ebay and do a search for bundles, sets, etc. Personally I have both Final Fantasy X and XII up for sale - bundled with 8 other games with starting price of $24.99. item number: 280294441901

FFX is my favorite in the series because of the battle system - 3 character battles but you can swap party members in and out, there's a timeline of the all the character's and enemies turns so there's no guesswork involved (I hated the ATB because if you weren't lucky and timed things wrong, it could mean game over). The story is different in that it's not very epic in scale - it's more about the characters - who they are, how they became the way they are. Only the female lead can call on summons (there's only about 8 of them) and you actually control them in battle, they're not like magic spells. There are limit breaks but are called overdrive.

FFXII is like vagrant story for the PS1 (made by the same teams I think). It's more european in design and even story is a more western - about politics, large scale wars between kingdoms. I hate the upgrade system in FFXII - you have to buy licenses in order for a character to know how to use a different type of weapon, armor, magic. Then you still need to spend exp. points to actually learn those moves.

Cool, thanks.

I have played every FF up till X, and I'm thinking about investing in a used PS2 to get these games, but I have questions and concerns. Do any of them have the active time bar battle system? I understand XI is an MMORPG, so is it any good and do people still play it? Is X-2 any good? I think there is voice acting but is it good? Are the story lines good? Do you still use limit breaks and Summons/GFs the same way? Do you use materia? Do you use the junction system? IS IT WORTH IT? If you guys answer those questions I'll be really thankful.

I remember when I got the Wii for Christmas. I already knew I got it because my brother camped out for it and my mom told me I couldn't open it until Christmas Eve. But when I did open it I was so excited and I got 3 games for it, Zelda TP, Red Steel, & Splinter Cell DA. It was awesome! What about you? Edit: I know Wii is not an old consle but yours might be.

Man, I had some good memories of playing videogames. I remember one time that my brother and his friend were over and we decided to stay up all night and play N64. We played Mario Party for about 7 hours straight. We did it so that our games would last the longest they could be and we got through those about 3 times in 7 hours. I actually won one of those, and I was only like 6 or 7. The first time I stayed up until 6 in the morning was when I played that game, and gosh it was fun. Those memories remind me of the good times... I'd like to hear some of your videogame memories also, so post away.
