Another point would be, it probably sold much more on PSX and Saturn, and maybe they just wanted to test market it. No one saw the 3Do ending abruptly, and it was doing well on some fronts afte the price drops.

[QUOTE="Darkman2007"][QUOTE="Shockwave-DASH"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"] somehow I doubt they would go through the trouble of translating an RPG just to package it with a lmited released of a game which got a limited print on a relatively low selling system.

How? LQ is rare without the limited edition. Not to mention Blue Forest did well financially in japan. Which may also explain why it has 3 ports on 3 consoles. Heck, there's tons of *** exclusives on the 3DO, and from what I see that's the only one that did well out of a select few so it make sense t me.

again , it seems like translating an RPG (which costs alot of money), and then bundeling it for free with a limited edition of a limited print run game is just silly, either youre wrong, or the developer is rather unsure regarding economics. even more so if the game sold well , if it sold well in Japan , it makes more sense to sell it as a standalone game.

How many standalone game sold well? THe complilations and combo 3DO packs were among the best selling things for the system (Excluding the pack in's) Especially in the rpg genre. I remember some mag being upset with the Dungeons and Dragons games.

Yes.

Finally, you are using a real screenshot! Still looks excellent, a lot better than Alan Wake, and even Gears 3.

GamerwillzPS

lololol [ lolololol Now that you agree I have been using real screens of Uncharted notice that Uncharted 3 looks worse than Alan Wake. Nice try though.

Lol, that looks horrible.

Don;t be mad because Uncharted 3 has motion blur and jags all over the place. You're lying to yourself, Alan wake looks better. Why not post more Bullshots of Uncharted to make yourself feel better?

Metroid Prime > Xbox titles.

Seabas989

Name 20 Xbox exclusives.

PGR 1 and 2, NG and NGB are ones I can think of at the moment. Not that it matters since Metroid Prime is greater then them.

How can you say Xbox titles are bad when you haven'tplayed any XBOX titles?

[QUOTE="Darkman2007"][QUOTE="Shockwave-DASH"][QUOTE="Darkman2007"] not on the 3DO , unless you can name the 3DO compilation itself.

It came with limited edition copies of Lucinnee. Although granted, turns out it's not exclusive so. It seems that it's on both the PSX and Saturn, can't really use that when comparing between the two.

1) poeple's personal opinion shouldn't "hurt you", relax, they're just video games bro.

2) I'm not an "Xbox defender", I mearly made a point about what games I liked that made the system worth owning for me

3) "more" exclusives doesn't directly translate into "better exclusives", so its not really an strong point you're making IMO

4) my point was simply that since I don't enjoy gaming on PC, the xbox was a pretty cool system with some pretty cool games. I really don't care about your rediculous "exclusives" debate to be perfectly honest *shrugs*

Seabas989

THe majority are rated higher than Gamecube exclusives, so yes it's a strong point.

So out of the PSP and DS which system is better? For shooters, rpgs, action adventure, wrpgs/jrpgs, puzzle games, and ports I would have to go with the PSP. THe advantage for the DS was mostly learning games, FP nintendo franchises, and a good chnk of action games. They had many rpgs and such to, but the PSP seemed to have the higher rated ones in quality. Both are very close but the PSP just had more, although the abrupt slowdown to game output later on really hurt it sales world wide outside of japan.

Lol you tried but got caught it's ok. So back to Alan Wake looking better than Uncharted 3 with Blu-ray since Bluray does not increase graphics.
