@Kratos Kramakar: Thats the same with any game, your saying fans will like the series but...thats why they are fans so yeah they would give it good reviews. Naruto is pretty good, I get more into it cos I like the concept of the fiction rather than the anime itself. The world is pretty cool and the concept of chi and the three jutsu's (taijutsu, genjutsu and the other that I've forgotten) are good. I'll try and watch basalisk but it does look a little action man. Transformers and One piece suck, I prefer Fullmetal alchemist, Voices of a distant star and stuff like Naruto. The characters in stuff like Basalisk suck, it's usually I am warlord so I fight to kill then they just have action from beginning to end and desperately try to throw in a sub par plot.
@ Diablobasher: I don't care. Bioshock = great, Halo 3 = Great. I don't care if you prefer Bioshock. There's metallic, jungle, snowy mountains etc. In rapture it's all just underwater city so yeah. Actually dual wielding does make it more enjoyable, it makes it more fun since I can play to my preferance more and have more choice of how to fight. I'm not stuck wanting the machine gun because all the guns are pretty well balanced and have there own benefits so I can just use them to fit my playing style. In your opinion sure, I prefer Halo 3. I already said I respect other peoples opinions, there's nothing wrong with stating my opinion and giving reasons. People can change there minds based on debate and new information, there is also some bad opinions and some good ones Hitler thought we should kill jews, no need to respect that opinion is there). I'm 18 and I've done A-level language, I'm born in briatain and only speak english, the reason it's bad is becuase I'm talking between 5 people (Silicon_noob at first, Naked_snake second you third, my parents about jobs and stuff and my girlfriend through PM's so I'm a tad in a rush when posting). Oh so your an anti anime retard I've seen those before. Basically you prejudise against it for being a cartoon which is immature yet you call those who watch it immature despite the fact that they are the ones who are willing to get past the cartoon exterior and view it based on the quality of the story. Name one game other than Halo I have a bad taste in.
@Naked_Snake: I'm actually giving good points, I've mentioned the improvement in graphics (detailed below), how the combat is varied and different from other games, the differences in combat (tools, vehicles etc.). Is it immature to argue? Is it immature to educate? Whatever, there's just a flood of Halo haters in here anyway so I will just leave. I'm telling him to ignore the game becuase he has the choice to play it or not and shouldn't ruin the fun for others by insulting what they enjoy, I am just telling him my views on his thoughts but I guess I am the immature one here for putting up a second opinion. Haze looks crap in my opinion and the point was I don't have to understand why you or any other Haze fans like it I just have to respect your opinion.
@Silicon_Noob: I'm not really pii$$ed I just have a passive aggressive personality which makes me tend to lash out regardless of whether I'm angry or not and being somewhat stoic I don't get angry so easily. The main reason I'm posting is to counter the flow of insults the game is getting just because it's popular, if it were not so popular but just as good a game then no one would give two craps to insult it but it does get quite annoying when you have fans of other games insulting it left and right just because you say you like it. You don't have to work it out, you just have to accept it. Life is about other peoples tastes and opinions too so respect that or you'll just always be confused. Hell release the crappest game ever and still 10,000 people will buy it because people buy anything since there's so many of us. I think Haze looks bad, the graphics are mediocre, the gameplay looks slow and boring, the ability to turn enemy against eachother and play dead makes the game look too easy and it looks like theres nothing new or good added to it. But regardless people will like it.
@Skullflower: Have you played Halo 3? Halo 3 has much more open and varied levels, a bigger variety of enemy, more weapons, the ability to dual wield, grenades and tools add to the combat, has vehicles, actually has plenty of multiplayer stuff and looks graphically better. The game is better than BS so just play it before you say stuff like that cos it shows you don't know what your talking about.
@ Silicon_Noob: The fact that you ridicule the game so much shows how good it is, if it's so crap and boring why waste your time ridiculing it? It's popular, it's good, so what? It's still just a game so If you like it play it and if not then don't. I got Halo 3, Gears of war, played stalker and played he Bioshock demo. If your trying to say a game is all in the graphics then that shows what a poor judger in games you are. There's fun, gameplay, longevity, sound, unlockables, immersion, difficulty and more. You say it sucks but the only thing you can seem to find wrong with it is the graphics, your opinion sucks man. Silicon_Noob: I'd guess the playstation brand since you have only put reviews up of their games and they've all scored highly where you did it. Anyway even if you do have a 360 that doesn't mean your still not a fanboy, people can still be biased towards one console and needlessly insult another. Just like how some people buy all the consoles but sell some later on anyway. I bet you like the look of Haze and Killzone 2 XD
@ Silicon_Noob: It's almost pointless argueing with you cos your one of those stubborn fanboys, either way the game is amazing, even if you think the graphics aren't so hot in motion they are quite a bit better and make it a very impressive game. The game also has many things other console FPS don't such as Forge (mini map editor), the ability to save footage of your battles, the weapon system is unique and the vehicles play a much better role in Halo than any other FPS. The level design and enemies are varied and good, there's plenty of multiplayer options (co-op split screen, co-op online, multiplayer split screen, multiplayer online) and the whole game is just designed to be fun. Adamska_br: This is the last time I'm going to say this to anyone, the game IS overrated. But it's still excellent, it beats every other game out at the moment in my opinion and is a great next generation title. It is a great game so like any other gets alot of praise, if you can't handle it ignore it and if you do want to just shut it and try the game then do so but don't be d*cks about it.
@ DirtyRotten: I agree for the most part, I think regardless of whether it's popular people should just play the game and like it. Just cos so many others like it they either insult it and give it terrible scores or praise it too much, I'd say it deserves a 9.2 for what I've seen so far though (played through first two campaign levels and played on 4 multiplayer maps with friends).
For those that are acting like the grapgics are just sharper, there is significantly more polygons (which is graphics so I don't know what you're getting at elmorePOW), better textures, better effects (water and lighting), more objects on the map e.g. foliage and better design of natural (rocks) and unnatural (buildings) designs. @ Silicon_Noob: The fact that you openly bash the game without probably playing it, the fact that you target this game in particular (which is obviously a big thing for MS), the fact that every review you've done is only playstation 2 or playstation games and have all scored really high leads me to believe your a fanboy. The game may be overrated but it's still damn good and has earned the anticipation many have given it. And why would you ridicule a game so much unless it was to just blazenly target the people who like it. @TheGreaterForce: The Halo 3 ones are too, playing it on my friends TV (not hi-def) looked better than the images on here.
