Did you install a patch or set the EXE on the CD and in your game folder to run in Win98 mode? It could be that your CPU is running so fast that the game just speeds up. I remember playing Red Alert 2 on Windows 98 back in 2000, right when I loaded it on XP last year it was super fast when playing. The big problem is at the time of devlopment the CPU's where not as fast back in 2000 like now in 2007.
Hello everyone, currently I'm gamming on my PC and Playstation 2. I've been saving up for a console for the summer but I'm not sure on what to get. I've played the Wii at my friends house and some what enjoyed it. Red Steel was pretty cool and I haven't had a chance to try Zelda yet. I use to own a DS but sold it after DS Lite came out because I owned the first model. I've looked into XBOX 360 and I had seen some pretty cool games like GRAWL plus XBOX LIVE seemed really cool. Playstation 3 isn't something I'm even thinking of buying right now until the price goes down. Right now I'm looking to either buy Wii, DS or the XBOX 360. I could buy all three but that would give me less money to buy any games. Right now I own all the good Playstation 2 games released and for the PC. I'm just looking for the best investment for a console.
