Here are your best bets for PS3 headsets:

PX21 - Awesome expanded stereo sound, full featured, great headset:

You could also buy the wireless X31 and X41 headsets (the X41 is Dolby 7.1 surround sound, best gaming headset on the market). They recenetly released the adapter so thatt you can use the chat on PS3 and PC:

Interference is not a typical issue. I have many friends that own X31/X41 headsets, and none of us save one have had any problems. My X41 transmitter is literally next to my wireless router and I have never had a hiccup. My one friend needed to contact TB support, but they had him adjust something and he is good to go! I think people that have "trouble" are the ones that don't follow support through. Take the dive on the X41, you will love it!

[QUOTE="x-2tha-z"] I've had Turtle Beach before. I bought a pair of X4's last May. I was hoping to get something better than Turtle Beach because the sound quality in the X4's wasn't as good as I'd like. Looks like they're as good as it gets for wireless 5.1, though. I might have to get the X41's. Thanks for the recommendation.x-2tha-z

No problem. I think you will enjoy the upgrade from the X4 to the X41:

I bought the X41's today. You were right. They're much better than the X4's. I just used the X41's while I watched Avatar on Blu-ray. What a great set of headphones these X41's are. So comfortable and amazing sound. Using them for my first ever viewing of Avatar was quite an experience. Thanks for convincing me to take the plunge. It was money well spent.

What an awesome way to try them out for the first time. That must have sounded amazing! The Dolby 7.1 headphone technology is more accurate than a home theater system as it does not need to contend with room acoustics.

Hey there, I can help you. What exactly is not functioning on the headset? Can you hear the game audio? Can you hear the chat audio? Are others able to hear you?

[QUOTE="x-2tha-z"]As the title says, I'm in the market for some top quality 5.1 wireless headphones. I'll mostly be using them for gaming. What would you recommend?x-2tha-z

I would recommend the Turtle Beach X41. They work great for Xbox 360 right out of the box, and they just released the adapter to make the microphone function for the PC and PS3.
