They did this with DA:O:?

MFDOOM1983

I can't believe it took this long to point out.

You would think a site full of gamers who play every game and have made such credible opinions on every game would have known this. Guess you guys were too busy crying and moaning about something irrelevant while Dragon Age released with the same day one "DLC"

That's not the only game that's done it either. Good job on proving how little you know about the gaming industry guys. I think casuals know more about what's going on than you..

1. $599 2. Pathetic launch lineup. 3. When I got a PS2, it was for Christmas in 2000. I was 11 so I had no say in what system I wanted. I now own a PS3 (I'm not a fanboy, I'm a gamer. If there's at least three games I want to play on your system I'm buying it. It's also now my secondary platform behind PC) but $600 is absurd and Sony screwed themselves. Not just with me but with others. Don't insult me buy telling me a piece of plastic is going to instill discipline and the best game you give me is a mediocre Resistance. On the bright side (at least for us gamers) they built a reliable system this time around. Bad news for Sony, they won't get their inflated 100 million consoles sold since people won't need to buy 4-5 systems.

When I read the title, the following games instantly popped into my head. Gears of War 2, Halo Reach and SOCOM: Confrontation. You can add SOCOM 4 to the list as well. Regen health..screw you Zipper.

[QUOTE="Denji"]

:lol: They went with the same music production as SF4. I think you could probably slap these songs on both SF4 releases and wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Of coarse, typical Capcom fashion. Already with "DLC" before the game is even released. It's just wonderful paying full price for a game that has disk content "locked out".

With that, the entire cast is lacking. But to be honest, it's probably some ploy by Capcom for the user to buy off the rest of the cast. If that is so, Capcom can blow me. I don't care if it even is MvC3, BS is BS. I want to get it, but I'm cautious. I don't feel like getting ripped off by yet another Capcom DLC scam.

KamuiFei

Exactly how I feel. And you know in 6-8 months from its release, there will be a "Super" version, with more characters like with SF4. And wtf is the deal with our homie Akuma not yet in the roster, if at all. :x Its also lacking in the Gambit department. Capcom has been going downhill since DMC4, imo.

With that said though, I really want to get MvC3, but I'm also cautious.

Yeah they'll be a Super version just like there was a Super Marvel vs Capcom 2. ..oh wait. Just stfu seriously. People need to stop crying about the lack of Akuma, Vergil (why should Capcom waste time adding in characters that play similar to people already in the game) and characters nobody used in MvC2 like Jin or Hayato. Someone complained there was no Roll. Seriously? She had her own tier in MvC2..at the bottom. Yeah let's bring back the most useless character in the history of fighting games. You guys just love to cry about anything and find any reason to discredit a game.

[QUOTE="game_masta14"] No, just no. We don't need to name this anything related to other shooters. Lets just call it Sony's Main FPS franchise or something.Sandvichman

I never called it a Halo killer, I'm simply saying that Killzone 3 could be THE shooter people think of when the Playstation brand is mentioned. It will never reach the sales figures that Halo has received, but it could VERY easily be just as huge of a success in the gaming public as far as a quality shooter on all frontd is concerned.

For it to be the sony's halo it bettet have the customization, content and private multiplayer reach has, and that is not an easy thing.

Yeah, useless bulletpoint features are a must have! For it to be Sony's Halo, it better have terrible maps, dumb down features that it's predecessor had and disappoint gamers so much that is has as many people playing 3 months after it released as it's predecessor had 3 years after it released. You're right, it's not as easy thing to compete with Reach.

2010 was supposed to have that title and look what happened. You're delusional if you think all those games are coming out. Half of them will get delayed, and half of the remaining games will disappoint. Forum kids think this gen is terrible because all you guys do is overhype and place insane expectations on every title. You would think after 6 years you would realize this but obviously not..

So is DS Dead space or Demon's Souls or is it just possible they can have the same acronym.

True_Chaos_UK
Nope, that's perfectly fine. Just like how ME stands for both Mirrors Edge and Mass Effect and plenty of acronyms are shared by games. However, when it comes to GoW it's a sin for it to also mean Gears of War..

[QUOTE="Skilltrocity"] Says who? System Wars? GoW is the acronym for both games and can be applied to both. GeoW looks stupid and honestly looks more like an abbreviation for Geometry Wars.muzik_mafia

You're right! Someone make a poll to decide if GeoW is Gears or Geometry Wars.

Or.... GW, Geometry Wars.

GW = Guild Wars..

GOW doesn't stand for anything in gaming.

GoW stands for God of War.

Crapcom at it again...they could have updated SF4 with extra characters and execute SSF4 update to the original game...but instead they release SSF4 for more cash and DLC like extra characters and customes for even more $$$$$. Crapcom isn't even relevant anymore with it's casual garbage.

sayyy-gaa

Dude, Capcom has been releasing updates and charging an entirely new $60 since the days of SF2. Behold SF2, SF2:turbo, SF2, champion edition, SF2Hyper fighting, SSF2, and SSF2 turbo. SFIII followed a similar pattern. I guess I'm saying NEVER buy the first SF edition released.

Oh, and already they have said we would have to pay for downloadable characters in MvC3.

Yeah.. Do any of you ever stop to think maybe they released new versions due to balance issues or just wanted to add new characters? Why do you kids think you're entitled to everything for free and that the gaming world should revolve around what you want? SSF4AE is going to be released (supposedly) via DLC. I bet most of you will still find a reason to cry despite saying they should have released SSF4 as DLC for SF4.
