You REALLY expect me to narrate the entire story here? If you didn't understand it, it's your fault. Go play the game again. THe story lacked cohesion and direction, yes, but in the end, it all came together sectacularly. And the combat would've been difficult if, you know, you'd played the game on higher difficulties. khoofia_pika

Btw, I am not saying its a bad game, just that comapared to expectations (Bioware RPG) it was dissappointing, and I think in many ways Dragon Age Origins was superior and this was a step backward.

All JRPG this gen has been utter **** like they usually are, dumb down and filled with weeaboo stuff. I mean just look at ff13 and ff14 dumb down and stupid, plays itself to. The only thing it got is a weeaboo story BUT!

Demon's Souls was among the best games i ever played, can't wait for Dark Souls. That game was bloody amazing.

I am really not sure how you(or anyone) can possibly think that Dragon age 2 has better characters over any other well known RPGS. I played my fair share of bad JRPGS but DA2's characters beats most of them in EMO category and basically complains the entire game. Only the dwarf was any good.

Aveline has the SAME persona regardless of your choices. Tough girl in a mans world.

Anders is an EMO "WAH WAH WAH I am a mage and everyone hates me" the whole game, and for no reason at the end does that"KEEPING IT SPOILER FREE"(Yes i Like being surprised, but there should have been a valid reason if he mentioned he was going to do it and i convinced him not to but NOOOO, lets do it anyways)

Merril is the shy magic girl who looks at you like a big brother...the whole game. Even after her story arc finishes.

Fenris : anders except less crying and more action. Reminds me of Sephiroth fanboys too much.

Isabela : Slutty pirate girl who only cares about herself and brags about how smart she is at outwittting people.OH wait, no, she shows she had a heart all along at the end"KEEPING IT SPOILER FREE"...yeah too bad I saw it coming 1 hour before.

Carver : Ok, he was a bad emo character, but his decision mid-game ACTUALLY made sense.

Bethany : Meh, was ok I guess.

Overall story : Terrible, some subquests were good, and really, why do you fight the last 2 bosses in the same order regardless of your major alliance choice? did the developer literraly rush the copy to the manufacturer as the inputted the choice option?

Only thing good about Dragon Age 2 was that it had better graphics then Dragon age 1, but thats also only in the technical category, artistically kirkwall looked like some city made out of abandoned warehouses. A better thread would be a comparison between dragon age origins and witcher 2 (Witcher 2 obviously wins in graphics but the rest of the category is up for good debate)

I always find this hilarious, People coming to a videogame forums and calling players of a certain game bigtime nerds. Let me make this clear for you, If you devote a lot of time to videogames, you are a nerd either way, you dont become a nerd for playing a specific game. And most of WoW players are actually casual, I can't imagine a game that requires you to put 40 hours or more per week having 10 million subscribers.

Game has very little to offer? Sorry, it has more to offer then all the GTA series combined. Now, you may not like the gameplay, thats fine, but saying it has little content to offer is probably not the smartest thing to say.

I played all the GTA games other then the ones on PSP, and Wow I played only up to the first 25 man dungeon (Gruuls Lair), Wow has more content then all the GTA games I played combined.

Ok so when you said Game has very little to offer, you meant you didnt like what it had to offer. I thought of that as you meaning it doesnt have enough content.

Bingo! That has been my point all along. Just because something sells welll and is popular doesn't necessarily mean it's quality. There are a lot of examples of very popular and very mediocre anythings (games, books, movies, music, you name it). I get so tired of WoW zealots claiming WoW is the best MMO based solely on its sales numbers and their own personal opinions and tastes. WoW is pretty much the same as every other MMORPG and personally I found it worse than many of the other MMORPG's on the market. It felt soulless, shallow, and generic.

I guess some people can't accept that their opinions aren't fact and it seems like many Blizzard fans (especially on these boards) fall squarely into this category. They can't accept that another person's reasons for NOT liking WoW are just as legitimate and as valid as their reasons FOR liking WoW
