I'm having trouble with assassins creed not running full screen on 1024x768. it shows black bars . I have a 9500GT and 19inch widescreen samsung monitor.

Screen's too big, resolution's too small. Black bars are unavoidable. You can still try changing the aspect ratio, see if that does anything.
[QUOTE="visceron"]Based on my purchase of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit I should buy Dead Rising 2!spittis
Wow. That is epic. Well they were going on about this on the Steam forums a while back, some of the recommendations are complete bollocks.
I've always thought that some of the games there are "real" recommendations, but some are just being advertised and promoted.
You know, I'm leaning towards that as well. There's no way that Valve would have trouble setting up a decent recommendations system, and seeing how bizarre the current system is, advertising is most likely the case.
[QUOTE="lawlessx"] how you figure his copy is pirated?NerubianWeaver
It's a known issue amongst the pirated version of Mafia II. You can even check those sites where they download the crap. I know because my friends are unfortunately pirates...
It has been already addressed with the latest patch with a working crack so....
Uh yeah. First of all, that's the near death screen. It's the color you see when you are dying. Secondly, that's the problem with the pirated version, so please buy the game, and delete this topic before you get banned.
Have a nice day.
