Uh yeah. First of all, that's the near death screen. It's the color you see when you are dying. Secondly, that's the problem with the pirated version, so please buy the game, and delete this topic before you get banned.
Have a nice day.

Its not the damage of the FAMAS that makes it OP, but the lack of Recoil and the high rate of fire. At mid-close range encounters, if you have good aim the recoil doesn't kick in for the gun until after the other guy is dead, whereas with the other assault rifles the recoil kicks in right away. So maybe OP isn't the right term, maybe its just unbalanced compared to the other assault rifles. So combined with the slightly higher DPS, the lack of recoil makes it a really easy weapon to use and get a lot of kills with.
The AUG has a bit more recoil so its not quite as bad, and honestly I don't find the AK-74u to be all that overpowered (never said it was), its just popular so people use it a lot, others die from it a lot and assume its OP.
Most of my issues with the game are still linked to killstreak rewards. Its such a flawed mechanic, I cant believe so many people put up with it and endorse it.

As for the TC's question on my technical experience with the game:
Horrible until the latest patch, which seems to have solved most of the issues. Still some bugs with sound looping, and my framerate is way lower than it should be given my GPU, but other than that it is very playable right now. Still, it is by far the most poorly optimized of the PC Call of Duties. MW 1 ran better on my old P4/1.5 gigs of ram/8600GT and this game only has a few improvements graphically.
The game also freezes/locks up on the main menu and when the game has almost finished loading. Sometimes it recovers after 30 seconds or so, but usually I have to ctrl+alt+delete my way out of the game and close the process through the task manager.
The server browser is also pretty broken, a large number of servers don't show, and every time I refresh it fewer servers appear with higher and higher ping, until I have to restart the game to start the process again.

People at level 50 don't use the famas. Why? Because it's not much use up in those levels. The AK74u has a much higher firing rate and with grip, it's monstrous(no recoil). Commando and AK-47 are the top of the Assault rifles list, and the Stoner93 tops the chart with the LMGs.

Well... hard to say anything to this really. Weapon balancing is atrocious? Well I guess that Bad Company 2s balancing is beyond horrendous. No incentive to get better weapons? Well judging by your play time, you didn't get these better weapons yet, so what position are you in to judge them? The economy system is not broken, up in level 50 I was busy trying to earn money to buy what I needed, because I didn't have sufficient funds after buying all the weapons.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your opinion is incorrect, an opinion is an opinion, but that's just my view on what you hate about the game.
FAMAS. That is all.
Semi Auto weapons (M14, FAL) are totally useless in the game, and they are usually my favorites (anti-auto fire measures, crazy recoil)
Snipers are useless on almost all of the maps
Basically there is no reason to use anything other than a few of the assault rifles. I've been on servers where about 90% of people are using the Famas, where the other few people are using the AK-74u or the AUG. I guess the last LMG you unlock is decent enough, but again there is pretty much no reason to use it instead of the FAMAS. I'd say that gun rivals the launch M60 in BC 2 for being ridiculously overpowered.
I'm level 38 I think, So i've unlocked a lot of the weapons and have tried almost all of those I have not unlocked by picking them up off of dead bodies. The Commando dealie is pretty good, but not much else seems too appealing.
If they fix the weapon balancing, the game would be improved, but still you didn't say anything about the killstreak rewards. That alone makes even launch BC 2 with the uber-m60 more balanced.
I mean, what is more balanced than a magic minigun that shoots through walls, flying through the sky? at least MW 2 had a perk that made you invisible to these things, and that allowed your team to take them down pretty fast. In this game its like a turkey shoot where you spawn and die a few times before anything can happen.
If they fix the weapon balancing, this game would be much improved, but the killstreaks are totally idiotic. I wish there were more custom servers that had them turned off.
As for the economy system, yea its not broken, I probably wrote that because I was raging at the game, but it certainly doesn't bring much new to the table, especially with Wager matches totally abandoned (they were great while they lasted). Its amazing how much could be fixed simply by changing the damage done by a couple of weapons.
Well... the AK-47 is great, M16 is beastly(I played 30 levels with it), you just need to know how to use it. As for the rest, well I guess you are right to some extent, I just didn't really pay attention to all those things. It is annoying though, when a mortar strike kills everyone in a house as well.
I wouldn't because I would realize most pirates probably wouldn't play my game if they couldn't get it for free. DRM only harms legitimate and loyal customers.General_X
To stray a bit off topic, do you remember the thread where Captain_Kid posted that nonsense about Halo kick starting the FPS genre? Would like to see the replies to that :D
[QUOTE="SkullShooter17"][QUOTE="skrat_01"]Three stars. It is good fun, and it is impressive how the developers balanced aspects of the game; especially considering how knives only is actually very possible. The new unlock system is great, as with the customisation options. The maps are ok, some are better than others, and the three zombie modes are great fun. However there is a distinct lack of anything that striking, aside from the introduction of interesting game modes like one in the chamber. There are good ideas but they are never capitalised on. Bad Company 2 honestly delivers a much stronger multiplayer experience, despite not being nearly as dense with features to COD BLOPS.skrat_01
Out of 10?!
Hahahaha oh no no no, three out of five. Muuuch rather the five star system than out of ten.:D
I was kind of worried, because what you wrote definitely did not correspond with your score :D
Thanks for the responses so far, everyone.
I just wanted to mention though, it seems a lot of you are talking about the gameplay. I already know the game is good, I just want to know how it is from a technical standpoint, like how I said in my original post. :)
But if so many of you are just talking gameplay, should I take that to mean you aren't experiencing any significant technical problems?
Thanks!

None at all for me.

I've come to the conclusion that BLOPS has terrible multiplayer.
Weapon balancing is atrocious, and Killstreaks are still one of the most fundamentally flawed mechanics ever to make its way into a multiplayer shooter, let alone one of the most popular games ever made.
The economy system is broken (too easy to earn money, no incentive to get better weapons since you unlock some of the most OP weapons early on), wager matches are totally abandoned and the gameplay is stale and bland. Maps are way too small and fractured.
I don't think i'll be buying another Call of Duty game unless they make some drastic changes to the multiplayer's core gameplay
I've put about 12 hours into the game multiplayer and doubt i'll make it to 15
At least the campaign was really good, I don't feel like the game was a complete waste of money
