Agreed. I like the EADM for that reason - being allowed to run your games without it. Impulse and GamersGate are the same.

And another thing I like about it, is that the developers are constantly on the Suggestion forum, listening to what everyone has to say, and striving to improve the product accordingly.
And here too, muahaha Glad to hear some folks like the download manager. Just to clear up a few misconceptions I saw: * Your entitlements aren't deleted due to inactivity * You don't need to have the cd key in the tray to play a game with EADM We try really hard to make the product better. Feel free to jump in with any suggestions on our forum. MichaelMichael, haven't seen you on the EADM forums for quite a while :( I posted a list of suggestions on there :)
When's the update coming, I'm dying for it already. Might go buy Crysis SE(the one in the shiny box), it looks awesome :D
Run it like Valve. Bamn. Problem solved.-CheeseEater-
Not. If you think Valve games aren't pirated, you're wrong. In fact, pirates actually set up networks to play multiplayer as well, and get the full benefits of the game without playing. Now that I think about it, there should be something extra in the real game that customers buy, that pirates can't access.
You can't. There's always a way for those pirates to bypass DRMs. Take Assassin's Creed II, or any recent Ubi game. It took months, but it was done. Piracy is a thing that cannot be avoided, but companies should still strive to make their games better and better, make them more worth the money, or at least implement some clever DRM system that doesn't harm customers, but leaves pirates missing out some major part of the game.
Say for instance, Assassin's Creed III comes out, in Ubi's place, I would get rid of their DRM, and instead sign a deal with Valve and use SteamWorks, and then somewhere in the game, make occasional checks to make sure that Steam is on, just the type that don't affect paying customers, so they won't even notice it, but if it detects that the game is pirated, it shuts the player out of the game.
Just something to think about.
[QUOTE="Agent_Kaliaver"]If only they did that. Now I won't say there aren't any Recon players that do that, but I, much like Felipe, have just gotten slaughtered and annoyed by Snipers. I would rather there be 3 or 4 enemy helicopters sometimes compared to the ridiculous amount snipers I've had in games. Yeah, that's really the only thing that puts me off from BC2. Like, CoD has snipers too...and sometimes they get annoying, but most of the time they are taken out or you can get around them. In BC2 they are kilometres away and it's hard to even see them. I also feel I am always running across a map for ages before action begins. The vehicles are vehicles.... which obvious if I go against a tank on foot I'm gonna loose. SUMMARY: Apart from the snipers and all the runnings, it looks like a very interesting game to learn.....[QUOTE="psn8214"]
Spot enemies, use motion sensors strategically, and defend points.

See, that's what I like about CoD. It really doesn't have the maps for sniping. It's always easy to take out the snipers.
[QUOTE="SkullShooter17"][QUOTE="FelipeInside"] Yes yes, thanks guys, I know how to add a server once I've played it. Thing is, I want to MANUALLY add these servers from that link.... so they show up on my list. I guess like someone said, try searching for games.on.net ????FelipeInside
Server name or IP Address. Hold on let me start up the game and see.
Edit: You need the exact server name. Open up the Server Browser, and on the right there should be "Filter Options", and directly under it, "Server Name". Click in the black space and type the server name. :)
Thx SkullShooter17 I tried that before I created the post and they still didn't show.... *goes off and cries a bit* Hmmmm, will try to search for them when I get back from work tonite...I'm guessing your ISPs servers are offline, because there is 0 players on each and every one of them. Your best bet of joining custom servers as I found out is via GameTracker. If you want to, hit me up on Steam and I'll explain: "Patriot".
[QUOTE="SkullShooter17"][QUOTE="FelipeInside"]
Uhhhh, didn't know there were Non-sniping servers?
Does that mean the sniper rifles are actually BLOCKED?
FelipeInside
There's lots of those servers. Just look for servers which state in the name: "No Snipers", "No Recon", or something similar.
Awesome thanks, Cause yesterday I TRIED to play again and got slaughtered by snipers....AGAIN....lol....Although I'm not exactly sure what maps you're playing on, because they shouldn't be that much of a problem. They might get lucky a few times, but Recon generally search for the opposing team Recon, and soldiers standing still or something of the sort. At least I wouldn't bother with a moving Assault soldier, it's a lost cause. But a Recon soldier, who can take my teammates out, is different.

3) When done, exit the server and go to 'History.'
4) Click the arrow beside the server name.
5) Click 'Add to Favorites.'
Done! At least, that's what I recall from it.
