one thing i don't get is how can a true gamer hate on any console - especially the wii - which is so fundamentally different than anything before it?

i can understand holding off on buying one since not many great games are out and the online isn't ready yet, but surely anyone with a brain can see the potential the thing has which is more than likely to come out with the growing developer support.

videophiles i can see not giving the wii a chance, but i assume an actual gamer would be the first in line for one.

why would anyone - unless you're some nerdy graphics whore - assume re5 would be better than re:uc?  are there any gameplay videos out for both games?

i loved re4 on the gc and i'm sure both of the next re games will be great as well.  unless you own multiple systems, you're missing out on something.

as for gta.  I enjoyed gta3 but i could never get into vc or sa.  i hope gta4 lives up to the hype and i hope reggie can snag some sort of wiicentric version (not a half assed port or scaled down gta4 though).
