@reddog00 I seriously disagree. I think it's fantastic, and makes perfect sense within the lore. It means you actually have to THINK before trading! "What is this item worth to me?". For me, it removes the disappointment associated with the "It was worth 500g and I only got 400g" circumstance. Buying I'm generally like "Sweet, I was never going to use that orb thing anyway! Here ya go!"
@the_big_dogggPeople always say Halo is tired. I don't know if I agree. I've always enjoyed Halo co-op and over lan/with friends. I've never been a big competitive online guy, but it's fun from time to time. I don't expect to be playing the same game years after launch, so I still find it well worth the investment. As long as they add new stuff in the way of enemies, AI, vehicles, story etc, it's still a lot of fun. Yes, it's still just classic Halo - but that's what I like about it; I don't really want them to change it too much. To put it another way, sales figures suggest that most people still enjoy Halo.
@hatieshorrer Traditionally console makers make a loss on the hardware at launch, then make the money back on game sales, and over time hardware costs go down so that they can eventually make money that way too.
