I think it'll be nice to see and learn more at E3, and hopefully get some good hands on impressions. Hopefully most peoples' fears are dispelled over the months up until launch, and that they'll consider altering some policies to please people a bit. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing more.
It'll also be great to see what Sony has lined up, as we don't have a whole lot of concrete stuff on their offerings yet.
@H4num4n Interesting. Thanks for the info H4num4n :) It wouldn't be a problem personally, but I know for many it would be - and there is always that one-off day where your internet is broken by some Act of God or your ISP does something dumb. ... Ironically, that's kinda the perfect time to play some games lol ;o
@m4a5 @Slagar Yeah, I can't see them forcing Kinect on everyone, (unless they've really lost it; "Kinect support in every game from now on!"). But I am really glad that it's a pack-in, because I think it has a lot of potential and I'd like to see what devs can do with it with mass market penetration. Totally agree with the check-in sentiments :)
@m4a5 Yeah, if they implement a kind of Give/Return system in the software, I have no problem with that, because it mimics past console generations and the use cases of physical commodities.
As for the always online notion, it will be interesting to see how people without internet connections are handled.
I'm all for the "moving forward of tech", and generally the ideas that they've put on the table, but I think they'd be stupid to alienate significant segments of users that may not have [stable] internet connections, may not want Kinect etc.
Multiplayer aside, I really hated how over-produced the campaign of this game was. It really put me off Blizzard games, and I saw more of the same with D3 so stayed away. They really need to come down to earth and focus on creating fun games, not big budget auction houses with glitchy hollywood interfaces and overdone symphony orchestra music every time you touch the mouse.
@wexorian I don't think so either. From what I've heard/seen, the game is not very well optimized, and I doubt that that will change for this port. Even so, it will still be a great game - and free to play! - for PS4 users.
