That's one impressive package! The metal tin reminds me a bit much of a biscuit-tin though lol. But even so, very impressive. I love the look of those prints! Enjoyed the vid, too; Zorine and Dan, I thought you were cute and entertaining!
@DAOWAce Couldn't agree more. I think graphically, they can do so much more. I think sticking with the plastic, japanese, anime-esque art style is partly to blame in that regard. Give the characters some real personality and skin textures ffs! Soul Calibur suffered the same fate. VF5 ftw.
It's good to see them actually acknowledging the threat, as opposed to entirely glossing over it in marketing-speak. It probably has a more positive effect on their stock levels too - as buyers would have more faith in a company that recognises it faces some challenges this time 'round.
It goes without saying: dat girl be mighty fine! Hahaha.
Seriously though, it's great to see Camilla bringing her considerable acting talent to such an icon. Lara's not just a well-known character within games, but also an icon for empowering women, and an icon for the digital entertainment industry as a whole. I hope the role brings Camilla more name recognition and propels her to more success in her career. Good luck to her.
This game looks set to really put another nail in Lara's plaque on the wall of the industry. I see this as both important, as Lara's brand appeal has been waning in recent years.
Also, of course, as a consumer, I'm really looking forward to this product. Great job guys, can't wait!
There is no way this console will "compete" with the big three. Maybe it will find some kind of tiny niche in the market, but honestly people, keep dreaming. There is a lot of marketing garbage on their page. The message they're trying to sell you is you're going to get "all the best games, free to play, for under $100". Suckers. Get real.
Although I agree with the rule in general, it's not the government's job to enforce a law like this. That's what you call a nanny-state.
Besides, even if I agreed on the rule for my [hypothetical] 16 year old kid, I'd allow exceptions too, such as LAN weekends with friends. This kind of rule doesn't belong in law.
