Yes XBOX live is 50 dalars A YEAR, OMG THAT IS THE SPENSIVE, wake up dude your bills in real life will average at 200 dollars a month so 50 dollars a year for a superior streamlined online experience making it possible to connect to freinds easier through gaming, and faster download speeds, id say its worth it. So if PSN is free how come their aren't as many people playing on Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 and its aesomeness?? hmmm, why dot they cap out at 10-40,000 online at one time after 1 year after the game, p wait i know becaseu the online gets old like CAll of duty very quickly.
And No HD-DVD wasn't supported which is why it died so quickly, resulting in BLU-RAY winning, which resulted in people buying PS3 for just for a cheap BLU-RAY player.
Hardcore gamers won't support Kinect if the games suck, Honestly this Eyetoy **** will appeal to the leave it to beaver families of the gamin world, but in end this **** will Flop i Hope so, both Kinect and Move lack any originality, most of the **** are all ports, bootleg versions of wii games.
Where do you live where your bills are only $200 a month, unless your still living with the fam? I pay that for my cable and internet alone!!!! I shouldn't have to tack on $50-$90 a more per year to play 1/2 of the game I already purchased. It's people who accept this, are who allowed M$ to continually rip you off on prices and all the tings mentioned in this thread. In real life bills go something like this: 1. Rent: $800 -$1500 /per month (depending on location or Mortgage (starting at $1000 per month minimum!!!!) 2. Electricity: $100+ per/ month 3. Water and or other Utilities: up to $100 per month 4. Cable: $50 minimum, 5. Broadband Internet: $50 minimum 6.Car insurance: for a person in their teens or early twenties: 150+ per month, for a 30 something or older : $60+ per month 7. Possible car paymet ( can be anywhere from $100 - 1000 per month) 8. car repairs 9.FOOD: $100+ per month 10. other expenses: $100+ per month (school loans, buying things, clothes,etc...) 11. Cigs ( if you smoke) up to $200 per month 12. Game purchases.. at least $60 per game if buying new. You that $50 a month may not seem like much to someone living at home with their family not paying bills, but to us people that have to pay real world bills it is an added and unneeded expense. That money could be going to buying a new game!Well maybe becasue we live 6 people to a house and divide up the expenses between everybody, my grandmother has a mortgage of 400 dollars a month, I give her 200, plus groceries, internet/phone bill, I pay for the TV as well, and pay for my school. My mom covers insurance, my stepfather covers car payments, he buys groceries as well, and pays utilities. We have a nice little system and it works. We can afford to go out to the movies and go out and eat every now and then, I don't smoke, my car dosn't break down all the time, i rent games and don't buy games all the time, when i purchase games i get eh ones i really want and dont splurge and drop 200 dollars on games, I buy off Amazon (including xbox live gold for 30 dollars(which i bought 2 years for 60 bucks), i buy through steam. I do live at home and family due to the economic state but we pull together adn can enjoy oursleves. I don't mind paying 50 dollars A YEAR not a month for a better service. Don't tell me i live at home and do nothing, I work and go to school and have resposibilites jsut like everyone else, 50 dollars i prett insignificant to how much i ahve o pay for school.
