Those are all good reasons for sticking to consoles. Not many people realize but the general populace at least in the United states isn't very tech savy and or very smart. We may think its not hard to add in a stick of ram or put in a video card, but the majority of people barely know how to use windows or surf the net. My friend is a mechnical engineering major and he fails at understanding how to add in ram, video card, this dude thought Portal was a hard game for petes sake. All in all Console gami9ng has its strong points, sometimes playing splitscreen is better hen you have a small apartment like me and cant afford the space of people bringing out there PC's. Sometimes its just better to play splitscreen depending on the game. And with these really good looking games coming out soon its going to be hard to have a decent frame rate without spoending more money on a vid card or more ram. On the PC side of course best graphics and frame rate are a given provided you have at least a mid range PC with a good monitor. The backwards compatibility isn't BS like it is with my 360, if i wan't to go and play that certain game i played 7 years ago i can without having to search online for a certain console. All in all both have their strengths and weaknesses if anybody is in the market for both types of platforms go for it its really awesome to have both a PC and a console.
The Problem is that they use really **** old DVD drives, i mean they are still 12x drives for crying out load. They could just add this its only 25 bucks, and then there wouldn't be a problem. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106335
