problem is that my monitor isnt the best. Its only 17 inches I believe with a resolution of 1280 by 1024. Im thinking I should maybe hook my pc up to my 52" DLP TV since the GPU's came with an HDMI adapter. Thoughts?

Honestly, I got it built for about 20 bucks. Now though, I think I really should have done it myself just to learn about how all the parts go together and such, plus that would have make installing the CPU cooler alot easier (which I still have to buy). Im not gonna worry about that for a couple weeks though. About the 4870 X2, I've been hearing some mixed claims. Some people say its gonna beat 4870 CF others say the opposite. But I couldnt have waited that long anyways, so im pretty satisfied. THanks for your input guys

Antec 900 Case

Visiontek HD 4870 ( two of them in crossfire)

Intel C2Q 2.66ghz (plannin to overclock to 3.2 ghz once I get my windows vista and test it out. I will get the Xigamatek HDT S1283 for this

Gigabyte x48 dQ6 mobo

Patriot pc2-6400 ram (800 mhz)

Pc power and cooling 750 watt psu CF rdy

It cost me about 1600. The only complaint I have is that with technology increasing so rapidly im sure its only a matter of time before this system is outdated

If you want tri or quad crossfire, you will have to go with AMD processors.

The 790FX is the best quad crossfire ready board.

wklzip

wait so the lanparty motherboard can only be used with an amd processor? cause i kinda want intel. haha woops double post above :S
