Im planning on getting two 4870s and crossfiring them pretty soon (I get them 50% off retail price :)) And I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a tri/quad CF motherboard just incase i decide to grab another 4870 or 4870 x2 in the future.

The 1gb version should be slightly faster and probably much better but at higher resolutions (19x12 +).

The 4870x2 should be better in every way even with 1gb memory (512x2).

At what monitor resolution are you planning to play?

I think my monitor only supports up to 1280 X 1024. Its an Acer LCD monitor but its about 2 years old. I think that resoultion is decent tho so i guess ill probably be playing on that

I was just having a look at bad company and i was wonering, how do consoles get those graphics off such dated systems?

intel dx48bt2 mother board x48 or the DFI lanparty

In around the 600 dollar price range, which card/card combination withen about the next two weeks would you guys say is the most powerfull?
