which team are you on for console fps?

I'm not sure what your question is. What do you mean which team?

Console fps, the dominating teams are sponsored.. all the teams have names. Any player that is serious about console gaming is on a pro team.

[QUOTE="DavidianMH"]I'm actually a lot better at FPS on consoles than PC. I prefer the gamepad over the keyboard and mouse.AmnesiaHaze
mee too... although for some it seems unbelievable , its just the comfort of sitting in my couch instead of having my hands on desk (which i have 8 hours a day at work) which makes the difference for me , also its nicer to play on a big tv compared to a rather small monitor

not that unbelievable, you enjoy comfort and luxury... most people would probably consider you kind of a douche. Because hey, we cant all have comfort and luxury.

never played more than a couple of minutes of fps on consoles. I hate the dual analog control scheme for fps's. feels so slow and robotic.Ontain

nobody likes anything they arent 100% used to, but give it a shot.

you realize Pc controls are freakishly fast? no human, even superhumans can do a 180 in the time it takes you to flick your wrist 1 inch.

[QUOTE="AmnesiaHaze"] lol i would feel too cheap playing with those conzolized n00bs , if you were a PC FPS'er you'd now that we play only in out 1337 major leagues

AmnesiaHaze

I know that, but since the average PC gamer is so much more talented than the best console gamer... seems like easy money to goto MLG halo tournaments and win hundreds of thousands of dollars.... with all them leet fps skills.

jk , actually nowadays i prefer to play fps on my console :D and i dont think im good or anything i just play for fun , and to stay on topic i think a console gamer could adjust to pc fps controls much quicker than vice versa

I dont know who could adjust to more... all i know is all my Pc experience DID NOT make me a uber console FPS gamer. I was pretty certain since i played unreal and quake so much, these halo guys should just give me money, turns out thats not how it works. Even if i think im better, for some reason im not actually better... ill never figure out the specifics.

[QUOTE="AmnesiaHaze"] i played only PC FPS until my first console FPS (goldeneye 64) , and yeah if you are a PC FPS'er you have so much advantage over those consolized noobs that it isnt even funny anymore

AmnesiaHaze

agreed massive advantage... so which pro console tournaments have you won hundredss of thousands of dollars from? would really show them consolers.

[QUOTE="SoBaus"]

less is that, you learn these mechanical principles in highschool... if you went to a decent highschool.... but troubleshooting a PC on a electrical enginerring level requires training.

everyone can figure out that if they are peddling and not moving, their chain fell off (or something else is wrong). But if you computer wont start when you press the power button, its not so obvious some solder cracked on the back of the electrical board for your power supply.

repairing electronics, takes alot more intelligence than repairing mechanical devices.

superfluidity

In such a situation, no electrical engineering knowledge would be necessary. All that would be needed is to find out what part went bad by a process of elimination, and replace it.

how do you figure out that part? CAn you look insiode your computer case?
