I didn't realize how old the reveal trailer for this game was until I saw how old this topic is...

Anyway, I trust Naughty Dog to tell a good story without killing off a major character for the sake of emotional impact. I feel like The Last Us is about Joel just as much as it is Ellie. But then again, I don't see his character having as much of a role in the sequel due to the heavy focus on Ellie so far and because Joel will be pretty old.

For me, I enjoyed them almost exactly the same. I'm more of a Fallout fan so I'd say I probably overlooked Fallout 4's faults more so than Skyrim. But in both cases I had a lot of fun overall and spent nearly an equal time on then (about 200 hours each). Still, can't see myself starting a new game in either case and enjoying it the same. I tried starting up Skyrim again, first on the PS3 only to find that I didn't want to do all the level grinding all over again. Then I tried PC with some mods but I just didn't really feel any incentive to spend time with it again. I might give Fallout 4 another go one day, but it'll likely be the case that I'll start and won't get very far.

I don't keep up with things that well all the time, but I'm pretty sure 8K is a ways away. 4K is becoming more mainstream but it's still pretty expensive to take full advantage of. I'd be happy if the next playstation can manage to run even some games well enough in 4K to make buying a 4K TV a worthy investment in a couple of years.

Technically I've only left a job of my own will, but I was definitely in a position where I was probably going to get fired for reasons that aren't important to go into. Anyway, decided to just call it quits on my terms because I figure it'd be better to say that I left on my own to pursue other opportunities or some shit because I didn't see any decent way to spin being fired. Of course, trying to find a job when you don't have one and aren't finishing up school or something sucks.

If they've ordered it and it has been served, then they have essentially agreed to pay for it. At any rate, I don't see what harm taking a photo of some food can do regardless, aside from looking mildly obnoxious.

Yeah... good luck trying to stop people from taking a picture of something they bought.

@AFBrat77: I like a few bits and pieces from the 80's, but I'm probably pretty much alone in my dislike for the decade. I'm definitely not being objective or anything, a lot of it just isn't for me.

I have a special dislike for the 80's for some reason. Just don't care for the whole hair metal thing and whatever else was going on in the 80's. Most of the 80's stuff I like was only technically in the 80's, like Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails's first albums which were both released in 1989.

I kind of forgot about it, to be honest. I'm sure it's popped up in games I've played, but not many. I want to say some of the first games I played on the PS4 like Infamous Second Son and Killzone: Shadow Fall had it.

I buy digital sometimes, but I would hate that. If it was absolutely the only option, I guess I'd deal with it. But I prefer having options when it comes to purchasing games.
